Adventures in Books You'd Enjoy Experiencing!

Or something! XP

Upon reading Dante's Inferno, I began thinking about how it'd be neat to take a tour through hell like the character Dante. Seeing all the layers of hell, the sinner's punishments, and satan, of course, would be pretty interesting. And quite gruesome!

I realized that whenever I read a book, I try to imagine myself in the character's position and/or myself living in the character's world. Naturally, most people do this too, so tell some books that have worlds, societies, characters, etc. that you'd just love to meet.

(This doesn't necessarily mean you'd want to be the character or actually live in his world, but you might just want to see his world or something in it. For example, I'd like to see a 1984-ish world but not actually live in it and whatnot.)

I'd like to re-enact the book i'm writing right now. It'd be awsome...

And no, i'm not making this up. I have 8 chapters already, each of them a good length.

I'd love to visit Narnia and tour around. Being a king would be a bonus.

Hogwarts would be great if I had magical powers but I suspect it's more trouble than it's worth, what with the ridiculous amount of homework and regular risks of maiming or death.

Then there was that erotic fiction I was reading the other day...

Id love to go to innsmouth ( from h.p lovecrafts " shadow over innsmouth " ) Despite the fact that fish people are raping woman there , and the streets are filled with grime and blood. Itd be cool.

Also to visit New new york from the futurama comics would be fun as.

Or maybe even visit hobbiton and see Bilbo or somethin , thatd be cool.

Naaa. I would really hop in my favourite book, The Looking Glass Wars.

Good gravy, can't we have a decent topic without you losers ripping down everything you see? You seem to have all missed the point of that book.

Oddworld would actually be very cool. Sneaking round Necrum mines and running screaming through Mudanchee and Mudomo vaults. Rock on.
Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy might be cool, but I should probably finish the things before I make a judgement. Wouldn't mind knowing where all those dolphins went.
And Lord of the Rings would be great, "Let us go through the mines of Moria" and so on. Plus I'd love to see the Grey Havens. They sound cool
