Okay, if you managed to get a glimpse of this thread before, then no introudction is needed. So let's get things started, or, resumed I suppose.

My favorite game and all time favorite RPG is Beyond Atlantis. If you liked Syberia, then you will love this. I love it because of its beautiful images used in the mythilogical worlds such as Xibalba. The music is also very good and gives you the feeling of the civilizations you visit. But what I like the most is the excellent. dialogue and voice acting. Not many RPG's can achieve this.

KOTOR and KOTOR II. Currently playing with the latter. Their storylines are amazing, in KOTOR, the first confrontation with Malak on the Sith warship was kinda like Episode V. It really suprised me.

And maybe the good old Wizardry 8.

Lineage 2 is fantastic, I love it, but it is however a MMORPG. Then of course there is Planescape Torment, Diablo 2 LoD, Neverwinter Nights, Fallout 1&2 and also Baldur's Gate 2...

I didn't enjopy BG2 as much as i thought i would, i prefered the less combat orientated PT by miles. Fighting in most RPGs is dull. Click.Magic. Wait.

Never played Diablo, i think i may have played a demo.But i could well be wrong.

Morrowind had some SERIOUS gameplay issues. Still, it made up for that with it's awesomeness. Oblivion will completely pWn any and every RPG to this date, no dizz-oubt.

Anyway, I like FF7. The Final Fantasy series may suck overall, but that still holds a place in my heart as the first and best video game (let alone RPG) that I have ever played.

Sorry for reviving a 3 month old topic but....

CHRONO TRIGGER PWNS ALL YOUR ASSES! I never liked FFVII. FFIII/VI was good but not perfect. Yet this game! It those everything perfectly in the RPG element! SO many plot twists. IT's so challenging....ALong with the best cast of characters EVER.

Crono-He never talks but you can just feel him communicating with you
Frog-A knigh that got turned into a frog by an evil wizard (I will name him next) and is eternally cursed.
Magus-The guy who cursed frog and joins your party at the near end of the game. After seeing his sad past and kick@$$ scythes you will use him forever.
Ayla-She's from the dinosaur ages. Ye she is teh sexay!
robo-A robot who learns feelings and very helpful ally.

I would post more but I won't since there might not be enough space to post it all.

Please if you ever run into it you should buy it and have your RPG'ing heart changed forever. For the SNES and playstation1.

Anywaez, I'm replaying Final Fantasy 7 (additional w007 for Pirating!) and boy is it... not as good as I remembered. Still an awesome game, but some of the magic is gone. Oblivion = probably #1, then Morrywindz0rz, then FF7.

lol.... Which kind of games do you like then? I'd say morrowind is 100% roleplay... Other RPs likle fable and stuff is more action packed. But Morrowind stll owns evrything. Even the owner of the game O_o

the best RPG that probably ever excisted was none other that THE ELDER SCROLLS III:MORROWIND. that game does what none other game can, it gives you a world to your self, you can do whatever you want and no one can stop you. 10-10 rating
