Hello! *Thinks* Well, I'm not one to reallly give tips as I don't follow many guidelines myself. The main thing to remember that there's nothing a little determination and practice can't do. I was a terrible artist when I started back up again, but as I practiced I got better. The thing is to study your subject carefully when you draw it, or if it's something from your own head, try your best to think of it's structure and lighting. Always do things in your own style, I promise your pics will turn out better that way. I hope those help. If I think of any more, I'll post them, OK? I'm sure some other artists will help you too.

Take a look at this topic here. It has three of the artists (myself included) that have posted pics of how we draw. Plus there are some good explanations along with them. Oh and when you draw...draw lightly, in other words don't press too hard with the pencil (I still have that problem myself). Hope that helps.

Hello, Kroenig There are tons of tutorials floating over the web. You can start with them to get the overall idea of how to make more elaborate drawings, and using image softwares (like photoshop and similars).

Then, start to practice: find a place in your room close to a window, grab some pencils and pens, a bunch of sheets of paper, and fill them all with sketches.

Try to copy other artists' style at first. After a while, you will be able to find your own style.

Here are some good sites to start:

POLYKARBON.COM this site has a massive toturial section. Go take a look everybody!!

Artist-site-links page some links to very good artists over the web.

HOWTODRAWMANGA.COM Check the tutorial section by Julie Dillon.

You can find many, many other sites over the web. So, start your research right now, grab your pens, and keep working!!!

We will be eagerly waiting for your artworks to be shown here.

When you r drawing try to keep a sharp tip on your pencils ...cuz you start of the drawing will be light pencil then the rest of it will smugdey black ( keep a pencil sharpener naer by
