What's with the web site!

What is with oddworld.com? I haven't seen it in awhile,but it is hardly updated and has little substance.Does anyone remember the ''updating to occomodate Mo'' phase of the web site It was'nt updated for Months!

I know, I mean oddworld.au.com and oddworldian.net have more info than than the main website! They should put sid and abebabe as webmastas of that site!

Man, OWI are very busy making Munch´s Oddysee. The game is the first, the web page is a secundary thing

yeah just calm down and wait freaken. The OW staff is doing the best they can to get both game and webpage up. Though i think that after they finish MO they should change the layout of the page.

I think the official site is great.

I challenge anyone to find an official game website that is more substantial than Oddworld.com. They have a monthly Dear Alf, heaps of information on the OW universe as well as monthly news updates plus more. It's not bad if you ask me.

Plus an Oddworld Inhabitant comes to these forums every once in a while. I don't think you would find this kind of fan--company interaction for many other games.

Here's some stuff for you all to tie you over until August. So don't say I never told ya anything!
1) We don't have a web dept. We all chip in.
2) The game is spectacular!!! We are bustin levels out right and left! The meeps are hilarious!
3) Two new features will start in August. Revealing something new about the game hopefully weekly.
4) We are working 24 -7 here!!!
5) Yes, the site will be updated in the Universe section closer to the launch in Nov.
Yes, the site will have a "semi" makeover too.
6) Lastly, one word: the SNOOZER!!! You'll love it!

I agree with what Sydney said... very few game companies out there have the fan interaction that OWI do. Go to any game site, and it's pretty much a bunch of official info about the game and the company... which is all great. But what other sites have stuff like Dear Alf and Fan Art and Fan of the Month. I went to a game site the other day and looked what they had under the links... not fan sites like Oddworld.com does, but only business links.

OK... maybe not all game sites... I don't actually go to that many other gaming company sites... but the ones I have been to are like that.

And how many would have someone from the company visit the fan based forums... official forums maybe, but very rarely the fan forums.

So, keep up the great work Oddworld... you are a great company who cares about it's fans.
