They were not met
The army is saying that recruiting goals were met this year. It is horseshit.
For the Army to meet its recruiting goals it needs to get nearly 11,000 recruits in the next three months. It "exceeded" its goals of 5650 by 500 people in June.
Why would they lower the actual goal of over 9000 a month to less than 6000? Was it so they could crow about goals when they haven't met them for 4 months running?
And the official numbers won't be released until mid-July. Wanna bet that its a late Friday press briefing with only true believers asking "questions"?
