I think its sad that its going down that was one of the first oddworld sites I ever saw. What do you guys think.....

it was probobly the first fan oddworld site i saw and i got a lot of pictures, facts and infomation from it. i am ver sad!

depths of oddwrld was a very cool site. Whenever i needed Info i came to that site. heck i even have it as my Homepage.

I know it's awful...I went there yesterday and it just wasn't there...I didn't even know it was closing!!

I think it's sad the site is closing it was one of the best Oddworld Fan sites out there..

and due to other life commitments, I will no longer be updating this website.

probaly some hard times...
we all know that you just cant do things if you are in hard times...

why does this site have to be the site thats closing

Not the best site for pics, but Hayley did put some awesome stuff on Depths Of Oddworld, and I can definitely say it will be missed a lot by the online Oddworld fan community, including myself.

It's Closing? I did not know about this. 27th! That's the Day of the young Filmmaker of Man, I won't even be able to see it go! One of the best and few websites added to my favourites!

Wow this is unfortunate to see it go. I think we as a community should bring it back under new management. It may be gone but the concept is most certainly not forgotten. Honestly right now I am infact going to go ahead and design a possible look for future reference. Ill save the designs in photoshop and showcase them if you guys want to see them and if you like I will hand over the design to you who know how to make the web site happen.

You guys just because its down doesn't mean someone else can take over and completely redo Depths of Oddworld. The person who ran it may not be able to but it doesn't mean we can't. I say we rebuild it and bring it back as a new website.

Im calling all artist on the forums to dish out new designs possabilties because I want to bring that site back. I have seen the talent on here and its awesome.

I am willing to bring it back. You just give me the word and I will start dishing out different design layouts for the site. If you guys like them then I will give them to you and you can do your magic on making the website happen. Unfortunately making the website work and function is not my department but designing it is.

Just give me the word.

Do you have permission? Do you need permission? I really don't know, but sure you could bring it up in new management.

I would imagine you need permission I dunno. But like I said I can very easily design the layout of the website and its pages. But for publishing it to the web is something I can't do nor can I manage it. Generally thats how it works right? A graphic artist professionally designs the website in photoshop or any other software and hands those graphics over to a web host, or someone who knows how to code the design and publishes it to the web. Thats a way it can work. But I as the artist would have nothing to do with hosting it. Thats what I am trying to say here.

PS : the design group glitches & easter egg hasnt been updatet due to some HTML problems with the links..
they will be ready soon..

We shouldn't let a fantastic site like that go down, or anyother Oddworld site for that matter.

I would be willing to contribute anyway I can so it can stay up for future and oldtime fans of the site.
