Blind Blind Mudokons

At the start of Oddworld 2, Abe says they use blind muds to do the digging. The first mudokons you save are not blind, and they are still digging. They know what they are digging up, so why keep them. They could tell the blind. Poor souls. Can you think of a way you can improve of how Necrum mines is run?

wel the theory about this is that the ones who aren't blind aren't in contact with bones and that the only who are are the blind ones...

the non blind are simply diging tunnels.

All very possible. Of course, the developmental reason is that introducing Blind Mudokons as a game element so early on was just a bit tough, so there had to be some kind of compromise with continuity.

I think they did it very good
like muds that can see are making galleries, and the blind muds are strictly locaded in the parts where the mudokons were actually buried...

Or maybe the non-blind ones dig until they are near the bones, but then are replaced by the blind nes who actually dig them up...

I thought it was sad how the muds did'nt even bother to cut the eyestitches. If you told them they were digging bones they would think they have defiled thier ancestor's graves and try to kill themselves.

But if they cut the eye stitches, it would be some hell of a pain don't you think, you'd be screaming for days if you were as weak as a Mud

There's a point - Mudokons have the ability to snip lip stitches (Abe keeps his as a kind of medal, a reminder of the history and potential fate of his people), so why not eye stitches? In an Oddworld.com article, doesn't it say there is a profitable market for Mudokon eyeballs? In that case it wouldn't matter if their eyelids were opened, there'd be no eyeballs underneath.

There would be.A mud eye is the size of a tennis ball and don't the blind muds have big lumps where thier eyes are? If they had no eyes the eyelids would around and the only reason they would be stitched is so noone had to look at thier hideous eyes

They have lumps, but I imagine that the sockets would be filled to prevent their faces from collapsing. Dead employees may mean more bones, but it's not going to result in a very productive mining operation.

The quote...
:
Besides, I’ve got a line on a profitable after-market for Mudokon eyeballs …
...speaks for itself.

-open the stomack
-put some trash in it
