A classic ridiculous lawsuit.

A California lawyer has filed a potential class action lawsuit against the internet search company Yahoo. Stephen Galton says he was subject to a "barrage of harassing, defamatory and abusive messages" from anonymous users on a Yahoo message board.

This kind of thing is going to far. I don't want disclaimers everywhere I look! I can just imagine:

"The views expressed in these forums and not those of Oddworld Forums or Oddworld Inhabitants ©."

EDIT: On second thought, I'm joining the lawsuit. DI called me an asshole today, and despite my best efforts to find his address and put bologna all over his car, OWF just won't seem to give me any compensation...

pfft. who hasn't? thats what message boards are. Post on a message board, don't be surprised if your flamed. Most of the flamers are just trolls and spammers, anyway. Not like it matters.

What a dicksmacker. I think that judges should have the ability to waive suits like this out of hand and charge the person DOUBLE what the fees of the prosecution and defense are and furthermore fine them $500 dollars for wasting everyone's time.
