Hitman 2 release date???

Would anyone happen to know the release date for Hitman 2: Silent Assassin?? I'm a big fan of the original game and I would like to get the sequel for Xbox. If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, thanks Jacob. I have the original game, Hitman: Codename 47, and I can only play 'Traditions of the Trade' so many times until I get tired of killing innocents.

Yeh, Traditions is the best level in the game by far.

I just got hitman 2 today. One of the best games I have ever played. It has so many add-ons and stuff. 1st-3rd person toggle, cool missions and a mid-level save feature!

I'm only on the third mission, so far I was at a Sicilian ranch (infiltration/assasination), then you go to St. Petersburg (sniping/stealth) and then another mission in St. Petersburg which is the mission I'm currently on. So i can't answer your question. Sorry.

Im pressuming you took out the Don. How'd you kill him?

(Im getting it soon, but i wanna know how good the game is 1st)

I was still getting used to the controls when I killed him, so I kinda ran into his office, killed a guy with a shot gun who was standing next to the don, Then I just let loose on the don with the shotgun.

THE AI IS SO MUCH BETTER! There is now a meter of how much people suspect you. Like when you walk by a guard, instead of just looking at you he'll follow you somethimes. And if they find a body, they don't automatically assume its you. They might look around for awhile, but if you do something suspicious like run or pick a lock or look through a key hole, then they come after you.

BUY IT! Its so hard, but it is really good.

No they don't limp, and I finally finished the St. Petersburg missions. I'm in Japan now, it's extremely hard.

Have you got it for X-Box? Or PC?
Enlighten me on the AI, can you knock guys out? And if you can, do they wake up again after a certain amount of time?

yea you can pistol whip them and it knocks em out for 5 seconds, depending on the situation they might alert guards. You can also use anastetic to knock them out for a long time depending on how many viles you use.

Uh the AI is better because the guards know when to retreat and when to fight and how to adapt to their environment to stay alive (hiding behind corners when in a forefight).

Is it hard to control for the X-Box?
Have you been on the level were you have five possible marks, and only one is the actual target?
Can you pick lock doors?
Can you distract guards?

(I'll be getting it in the 4th week of November. Im gonna buy Blade II, if thats rubbish im going to return it, say its 'faulty' and get Hitman II instead.)

The Xbox controls take a little getting used to but are easy.

I already passed the mission in which there are 5 targets. As you look throught the sniper scope, you are fed information as to which Ex-Russian General you are required to kill. The information is:

Bald
Right Handed
Drinks Heavily

Yes you can pick locks, and sometimes that is essential to the game.

As for distracting guards, I don't know exactly what you mean.

hitman 2:scilent assasin is being recalled because some people found that going into a jewish place and killing all the jews VERY offencive, the game will be reworked and then released again.

uhhh it wasnt jews.........

They arent being recalled, some Sikhs and Dalits complained about missions you do in India, where you have to kill a cult leader. It was fairly stupid of them.

But I am almost done with game, I have been using cheats. I haven't played it in a while because I got GTA: Vice City.
