Oddworldian is Back!

I never thought I'd say it, but Oddworldian has returned with a brand new look and angle!

I was looking through General Discussion and saw all the new Oddworld art that had been released and missed the old times. I toyed with a design for a potential new Oddworldian and came up with what you'll see if you follow the link. This version wont be much of a news site, but rather aims to be a general Oddworld Handbook. It focuses on the art and mythology of Oddworld as opposed to the actual games. The reason for this is that a news site is simply too time-consuming - consuming time that I don't have. So this new project will allow me to balance the fulfilling hobby of running a website with uni and other aspects of life.

Thanks a bunch to Justin (Pilot) for granting me some space on his server. It's good to be back! The new address is:

Yay this is great! Oddworldien is back in business! I like this new version you can put a lot of interesting facts in it. Desputes that have been dicussed here can be answered now in Oddworldian! cool! Like the new look too.

can you post my théory About the queens ?

Godd said the first day: I will make oddworld
He made it.
It was a beautiful place.
Then he created life: it was fun but died...
Godd was realy busy and didn't have the time to make a new life when one died, so he made Queens (life makers) and put some Queens on each continent...
He liked sometimes one Queen more than an other so he reproduced it many times.
They had one mission: make lives and when the Queen is to die, make an other one.

The Queens were friends long time ago. But then came some rivalities and associations and some Queens made wars with they kids. Godd saw it and was very angry: Killing Lives is BAD! So they stopped making war, but the conflicts were still there.

Now, the Queens kids still hate each other and the associations between the Queens and their kid still hold.

Alf, I always loved Oddworld for its rich art and history. I couldn't just stand by while my site was in ruins. I'm glad to be back! Howz about adding me back into the fan links at Oddworld.com? Pleeze?

Oddsville, I use Adobe Photoshop 6, which is quite a good program. It allowed me to do the nifty text effects.

Danny, I'd be glad to add your "Great Forest" ideas. Just point me towards it and I'll post it.

On another note, the guestbook is now working. Thanks Abe Babe & Justin for helping me get that sorted out. All the old entries were destroyed so I'd be overjoyed if it started filling up again.
