chewing gum

ok i read somthing really strange in the paper yesterday it said:
Researchers at the University of Northumbria discover that chewing gum makes people more intelligent they say repetitve gum-chewing improves memory and thinking ablity.

so do you think it's true

I know that. I make my homework very often while I chew gum. I think I work better if I chew gum.

Chewing Gum is nasty, vile stuff. Why anyone would choose to chew it voluntarily is beyond me...

I read somewhere that if you swallow chewing gum/bubble gum, it takes something like 3 years for your body to break it down.

Only if it stayed in your body for those three years. It goes the same way as tomato skin and apple pips - egested in a day or two.
