Well someone needs to point out those good ideas then because apparently I missed them.

This is hardly anything I'd call a music video. Sure it has music and it has video but the two seriously don't mix at all. It looked to me like you just got your hands on material from AO, threw the whole bunch into Windows Movie maker in no particular order, threw the music on top of it and saved it. At some points I just felt like I was watching muted AO clips while my music player was playing a song, and that's not a good thing.

Few pointers for future projects:

1. Plot out a main theme for your music video. Be it a story told through fragments or just a general theme. NEVER just grab a bunch of clips and randomly mix them in.

2. Listen to the music carefully and identify key moments. Also teach yourself a sense of rythm. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... Count along with a song and you'll notice that most of the key points are at those intervals.

3. Use said key moments to switch a scene and never ever do it in between two key moments.

4. Don't leave clips unedited. You put the intro of the game at the end of the video, completely unedited. It didn't even sync up to the music once. The only thing that had a nice effect was the fading out of the music and the shot of Abe but even that went out the window by letting it go on long enough to get Mullocks ugly face in the picture.
Another reason to edit clips is to prevent a scenario where a fan of the game watches your video and goes: Yea... ok... seen this...

Identifying key moments in music which you can use for music videos takes some practice but isn't to hard to master. It's mostly a matter of following the bass in the background and working with that, but it depends on the music of course. Try watching some of the more popular music vids on Youtube and try to look at them from a technical point of view and try to discover what they did.
