Question Not My Baby!

Anyways, I was sniffing around the Internet and noticed there was a lot of snapping from parents about their children. Apperantly, their babies are getting 'harmed' and 'hurt' at schools and other areas. So what do the parents try to do? Complain, rant, and, stupidly enough, try to ban playgrounds! Parents, while I admire their possiveness towards their children, are becoming WAY to protective, I mean, next thing you know they will be wanting to ban pens due to the sharpness! I mena come on! So, what should the saftely measures be like? I LIKE climbing tress, ( though its now BANNED damnit) and falling off rocks, and the like, I mean who doesnt? But Parents are getting way to paranoid and protective. Whta you guys think? Any major kiddie injuries by your neck of the woods?

P.S.: to avoid trollness and throwing of wolves, I'm clearing up a few things. I dont mean ALL parents, only a few nutters. And by 'Children' its all ages 1-18 yarda yarda

A five year old was run over on my street like a month ago.

As bad as I feel for the kid, I have to wonder...Where were the parents?

But as far as climbing trees and falling off of rocks, it's what kids do. If I didn't bruise and bloody myself on a regular basis when I was a youngster I'd be terrified of most things today. And I'd have no pain tolerance.

So, yeah. These parents need to shut the fuck up already.

Hurt at school? Called being beaten up by assholes. This is when teachers should FREAKIN' LISTEN. Needs to be a law on teachers paying attention to when someone is stood infront of them, having their face punched in, asking for help. Quite frankly, we need suits patrolling the school to control this sorta thing. You get done if you defend yourself, yet they won't offer help, so...yeah, it's gay. Happened to me in middle school. The bastards...

Anyway: The minority of mutant, retard parents have such an unreasonable effect on everyone else, I don't see how this law managed to be passed in the first place. Kids climb trees, you can hardly put a law on it (if there is one where you live...WTF...I'd be surprised if anyone took the slightest notice of it), and sometimes they get a bit bruised. That's life, all part of the fun. It'll hurt for about a minute, and they'll be laughing about it later. As Calvin's father says, it builds character. I quite frankly think the child will be harmed more psychologically or something by there being LAW against climbing a FACKIN' TREE (what about 5 year olds? They're not susceptible to the law at that age, so...????? They're the ones wo're gonna be doing most of the climbing) than the minor chance of getting a small scratch on their knee. I think the children would also resent their parents for this also. If the kid gets hurt from falling out a tree, it's their own fault, and they have the choice whether to or not. Parents do certainly intervene WAY too much with their kids these days. No privacy, at all, apart from here, on the internet, usually considered one of the least private places at all...yes, my mum is useless at computers.

If they think a law against climbing trees is going to help, how is that a concern when numerous people get run over by retard drivers etc. every day. Not nearly as dangerous as trees, so I'm surprised the parents aren't complaining that the speed limit is too high at 10MPH next to their school (though quite frankly I think fast, busy traffic near schools is possibly a problem. I'm surprised no one just outside of mine has been hit yet, always see them dashing in front of a car as it's the only small chance they'll have of crossing the accursed road. No traffic lights or anything either).

Come on, you could pick on a thousand minority crazee groups and rightly slap them down. We all know these people are idiots. Where's the discussion to be had? Maybe you're just doing a public service, I dunno, this is your show.

The wonderful thing is that these same parents will be complaining about how much time their kids spend watching tv and playing video games and, some time later, will wonder why these same kids are so obese.

This is a reason I can't have kids.

I worry way too fucking much and get anxiety issues and shit.

Hell, I get shaky when I'm late for the bus.

I have issues, people.

I got detention was because the teacher was worried about me breaking pencils with my head (I was bored, it was almost the end of a school day in Friday, I needed to pass time).

So like, are pencils dangerous to break with your head now? I see people doing it with cans and they seem fine.
