Gamers: Should they bathe more often?

Seriously, they smell. How can they not notice it? No matter how many times you ask them to do something about the oppressive stench that emanates from them, they remain indifferent. I've tried asking these guys nicely. I've made threats and rude demands. I've explained how this gives gaming a bad image. But no, these unwashed cretins refuse to shower! They also have an aversion to brushing their teeth, changing their clothes, and wearing deoderant. The thing is, oder isn't a victimless crime. I have to sit in classes with these guys that are nearly an hour long! I have to work in an enclosed space with these people for upwards of two hours 3 times a week! Why do they refuse to practice good hygene?

I don't smell... jerk.

I'm proud to call myself a gamer (It's really the only "label" I can be proud of. I game. Therefore, I am a gamer. What do you expect?) I'm also proud to say I bathe everyday... with soap and water, smartasses. ^_^

Bah. Though some gamers really need to bath, not all of them do. Plus, more people than just gamers need to up the amount of personal hygeine. Like this one overweight kid that I've known since middle school, who acts like a retard, wears a trench coat, and is the finest example of poser 1337 anybody has ever seen.

Anyways, you most likely just live in an area where the gamer stereotype holds true. That might explain it...

I'm sure that I'm getting my hatred for gamers from much too small of a sample. Yes, most gamers bathe. Hell, I should know, I play Magic:The Gathering every now and then. But there always seems to be some unwashed troglodyte ruining it for everyone. Not only is the smell bothersome, it gives a lot of a people a bad rep. Whenever I see someone with a D and D book within 50 paces of me and I'm not downwind, I tend to tense up and wonder how quickly my upper lip can reach my nostrils in a discreet manner.

How in the world could they live with themselves when they don't bathe?
I game but I make sure I bathe every single day. Nothing like a fresh shower in the morning. It wakes me up at least.

There was this person in Highschool I knew whome always wore the same clothing and smelled like shit. I tell ya everytime he got up and left the class the teacher would have Lysol to clean the air. It was desgusting.

And he was big and he was definitly a gamer. The kind that reeks badly.

I bathe every other day, mainly because bathing everyday damages your hair. But yes, i enjoy bathing. Bathing is fun. What with the bubbles and the candles and the Red wine...Mmmmm...

I am a gamer and I bathe three times a day;

1. A.M. shower at home
2. shower at school (gym)
3. P.M. bath at home

I wash my hair during my bath every other day, so I don't **** it up. Everyone says that bathing over and over can dry out your skin/hair/etc. but for some reason this has no effect on me and my skin is perfectly smooth, clean, and moist.
