Happy A nifty idea.

How would you like to be able to turn your Xbox on and off by just tapping a button on your controller? Well, it is possible.

Hmmz wells thats really lazy.... the part of the remote is because you misplace the remote. But the x box is always there so you can shows stretch your legs and turn it off with your toes. But anyways, its a good invention but its more of a bother doing all those stuff just to be able to turn off ur x box.

I think thats cool you have to be a person who likes to take things apart and and be able mess with it and put it back together to your likeing which is cool. We have this Atari system, piece of junk by the way and my brother he takes things apart all the time and puts stuff back together all the time. He does that on cars and puts cars back together and makes it better as a hobby. Well anyway he took apart the Atari which wasnt working and simply tampered with the wiring inside on the circut pad and lone and behold he puts it back together and it works again. and even the games load even faster which is absolutely amazeing. I just find these things fascinateing. You got to be smart to do that. That is awesome.

I'd really like to do it that to my Xbox. Anyway, for those that are affraid they'll cut a wrong wire or something, here's another thing that can make your Xbox look cool. I should've called this thread "things you can do to your Xbox."

Xbox Skins

Yes, maybe that sort of thing should be exclusive to America.

Anyway, in monthly GAMEINFORMER, they usually have bad-ass Xbox designs in their "Featured Platform Pictures" that they occasionally include. I thought this month's picture was lame...a white Xbox with black flames, sounds cooler than it looks, I could get the stencils for it at a Cyle shop.

One could call it being lazy, but thats the same for televisions. People are lazy and do use remotes (normally, they have to now). The skins are appalling, I looked, I saw and I hated them. I would hate to spoil my Xbox like that.
(I did actually stick two of my oddworld stickers on my Xbox, the ones from Alf last year... I put them in good positions and they actually look good.)

If I were to win another Xbox or something I would probably mod it and mess around with some of this stuff. But Ive still got my five year warranty on mine, actually its probably like three now because Ive had it coming up on three years.

Did you buy that extended warranty separately, Al?

Anywho, the skins don't void the warranty...only the remote controlled thing.
I'd get orange if I were to get an Xbox skin.

For mine since I wanted to get it the day it came out (November 15th, 2001 to be exact ) I ordered a bundle from EB Games in the Mall. This bundle was a little over five hundred dollars but well worth it.

-Xbox System
-2 Controllers (Big Kind)
-1 Memory Card
-DVD Play Back kit

3 Games of my Choice

-Halo: CE
-Munch's Oddysee
-a third game (cant remember which one it was )

-Extended Six Year Warranty

Plus a discounted Strategy Guide

In my opinion it was a really good deal, my mom picked it up while I was at school that day, and when I came home it was on my bed, I had some friends over and I played Munches Oddysee, and Halo that day.
