Oddworld Different Images Issue on the Forums

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem, or if it is just me/my computer.

Since the upgrade of vBulletin ... I haven't noticed the image replacement problem, but now I have an images removal problem.

If you look at the attached image, I can't see mine and Alcar's banners. They are just "gone". On investigating further, I found that it is any banner that is hosted on the server ... or more specifically under the misc/banners folder [as my little animations are stored in a different folder]. But I can see other banners ... like Hobo's and ones that aren't on the server.

Now here is where it gets really weird. If I view the source code of the page, there is no reference to the banners in the HTML source code. How can that be? How can something be just removed from the source code??? Even with the other issue, the HTML source would still read correctly.

Of course it's not a major problem, and if it's related to the other issue we probably can't fix it ... but I'd be interested to know if anyone else has come across this.

Abe Babe...

Woah. Not even in the source code? And it's only the actual image? It could be that you have turned off showing images in posts. Or that the database / PHP is hiccuping and giving the wrong variables.

It's weird

I've seen that problem with your banner before, Abe Babe, and I have a feeling I first spotted it before you upgraded vB.

Yeah that happens on certain smilies, Lucipher and Silversnow's Avatars.

It still does provide some laughter. Although it does make the posts a lot harder to read.
