Okay, plotsummary, yippee:
In the 70's, or as I like to call it, the time of the GREATEST SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS, EVER, there was a cartoon called Sealab 2020, about a crew of science officers and such that lived in an underwater base(Sealab) in the year 2020. Well, it enjoyed meager success, but at the dawn of the 21st century, a crew of cartoonists followed the hit cartoon 'Space Ghost: Coast to Coast' by repeating their million-dollar-formula.
1)Buy the rights to a cartoon that bombed in the 70's
2)Use original animations, and use computers to revamp them into new scenes
3)Get new voices for the characters and writers to pull funny shit out of their asses
4)Give it a title, SIMILAR, but not completely the same as the original
5)Rinse and Repeat
Well, needless to say, the NEW Sealab, aptly titled Sealab 2021, takes all of the original characters from the 70's bomb and gives them HILARIOUS new stories that are completely off-the-wall and original.
Well, the main character, Captain Murphy, who's known for such statements as "I feel like a kuala bear crapped a rainbow in my BRAIN!" is no more, as his brilliant voice actor, Harry Goz has passed away.
It's a sad day for insomniacs and cartoon enthusiests around the world.
