In the Avatars section it has a personal photo of "Maggie" the gluk queen, but Ive seen on other sites that the photo is actully Skillya the Slig Queen. So which is it?

It has the cartel magog sign above her head... there is a lot of glukkons too...
I realy think this is the Glukkon mother

It is actually a concept art of Maggie (or Queen Margaret), the Glukkon Queen.

No one has ever seen what Skillya looks like... that is taken from the Oddworld.com Universe section.

yeah.
well, i was gonna say why i thought it was lady Margret, but since AbeBabe confirmed that it is in fact the Glukk queen, i'l skip it.

I think the reason that we ahven't seen Skillya yet is because that might give us to good of an idea of what a slig looks like under it's mask.
Just a thought.

yes
as far as i know, skillya is the 'official' slig queen.

If a Slig gets too many complaints filed, he will be fired. A Slig whoâ€™s been fired is brought before Skillya. The details of what happens to a Slig after facing Skillyaâ€¦ are sketchy at best. It is rumored that she has special recipes in how they should be served.

I don't think Maggie will look like that in the game (assuming she is in a game...). One reason is...

If they do infact keep her the way she appears in the pic, i thought of atleast one explination-
maybe all of her internal organs and lungs are behind and to the side of her face..so they'd all be loacted in her head, while the rest of her body is devoted to pumping out new glukks.
This is the only thing i could think of...and even if her lungs ARE in her head, they'd still ahve to be fairly large..hmmm

Hey you guys I notice something on the Concept of Maggie. She has two I repeat two heads. I have a hunch and it is very odd what if Maggie and Skillia are the same creature. Skillia is the bottom head and Lady Margret is the top head. Two queens in one. Since sligs are so devoted to Glukkens that could be. Was there something about sligs being related to Glukkens. if so that is cool! That could be a very odd thing indeed. If you want to see it look at the picture above that was posted and tell me what you think. I honestly see two heads. Two heads I tell ya!

It is entirely possible that Maggie's actual body is only the tiny bit behind the head, and that the rest is simply Abdomen for the laying of eggs.

About Skillya not being shown because it would give us an idea of what's behind a slig's mask: Look at Maggie. Look at Glukkons. What makes you think that Skillya will resemble normal sligs any more than Maggie resembles normal glukkons?

Now that Ive seen a blown up picture of "it" I can definately see its a Gluk queen. I think it was ODDBODD's site that said it was Skillya, and a few others to.

When you look at that picture you can see that her front arms are much larger then her back arms- just like a normal Glukon... That can only mean that everything atrached after that is just her abdomen which is a huge over size compared to nomal Glukons which have almost nothing there at all!!! But it also means that she has a main body segment that is not much larger then her head. Normal Glukons also have heads the same size as there bodys.

I know this is Oddworld an all, but that bodies kinda gib..... Im MO the GLuk Queen needs new lungs, dont you think little Munch's lungs would kinda not really support that huge incredibly disgusting body? Cause I really doubt that the whole huge thing is really just for layin eggs, I mean that heads like the size of whinny the poo....... (no offense to any fans who might be on this forum....)

Maybe the Vykkers do something to make the lungs fit...put em in gro-formula or something so they would fit the Glukkon Queen's huge body...
Just imagine what happens if the support she's hanging from ever broke....she'd be like a beached whale. I imagine she must eat a LOT..I wondered about those huge barrels in Rupturefarms- maybe she scarfs those down like those pudding snacks you can get in the supermarket...

As for what fertilizes the queen-
Queen bees mate only once and the drone's reproductive parts actually get torn out...and he dies.
Helluva way to go...
Maybe they're like angler fishes where the male looks for a mate as soon as he's born and when he finds one, he latches onto her body and their tissues grow together...One female may end up with several males sprouted off her body..

However, for all we know, it may take no more than a difference in diet to make an oddworldian Queen...Like the meetles changing depending on what they were fed as larvae...
