Questions about games design

Hi i'm an artist and i wanna also do 3d modeling for games even though i'm 15 i wanna learn some stuff i'm downloading maya i have 3ds max but it freezes the computer so

Anyway is there any links or places i could go (somewhere in Australia would be good)

P.S. i need work experiance for school so are there any places in Australia for games.

I don't know of many games studios here in Australia. It seems they're all based in the US or Japan.

The only one I know of is Infogrames/Melbourne House which is in Melbourne. I believe that Melbourne House develops a lot of sport kind of games, and worked on one of the Looney Tunes games.
