in the year 2011, a huge terrorist group know as "ghosts of phoenix" have captured a huge man made military installation, floating in the middle of the atlantic sea.so far, only 4 people have been idenified in the group. There in around 60 of them, all escapen convicts. They are very well armed, with the SIG 551's at the base, they have snipers and have even hijacked a hind helicopter gunship. An eliet special forces unit know as "wildfire" has infiltrated the base, there mission is to disarm any and all nuclear warheads at the base, and then capture of kill the entire terrorist force. The odds on a mission like this are bad, and only team wildfire can do it.

chapter one

bullets whizzed through the air, tearing into the hull of the osprey, it had armour, but with the cannons on that base, it wouldnt last long. 2 masked people armed the gatling guns on the side, they fired down on the turrents, ripping the terrorists to pieces. 5 ropes extended from the chopper, and five people, in black suites, slid down onto the deck. The osprey instanly flew away, and the 5 people slid into the night.

the 5 people, only visible by their dim green glow from their night vision goggles, lay down, securing the helipad.

"silencer people" said Maclenny, as he slid his silencer on his F2000. the rest on his team did as told. He looked through his scope, it wasnt a big high-tech scope, but it had a X5 magnification, so he could se what was going on. 5 troops came down the pier, they had each a SIG 551, "west,take aim" he whispered over his comm. "3, 2, 1, now" him and west fired a small burst each, the first 3 men fell over, their necks riddled with holes. "Paegan, take unit 4" almost instantly, the 4th man was down, raking a sniper bullet in the head. The 5th went mad, firing his weapon every where, but he was just wasting ammo. Another small burst, and he was down.

West and Kilroy went forward, and secured a door into the right complex. The door opened, and they both went inside. "all clear" said West over the comm. Maclenny and paegan went in Deveroux covering the rear.

and so the team are in the complex, more soon to come!

i decided to split us up into 2 teams. "paegan, west...your blue team, go down stairs and do a recon, then call me. Killroy and Derveroux will come with me, we will be red team. We will check this area, you are all authorized to kill, we only got 28 hours untill they launch the first one, so we gotta move" I walked down the next hall way, a CCTV camera was on, just over a door. The door had a big 3 on it. If the camer was destroyed or it saw something, alarms would sound. The only people who saw us come abord the platform were dead. So we had a full element of surprise on us, and i didnt want to ruin it so early. "Sling 'em" i said to Deveroux and Killroy. They slung their weapons over their backs. With our backs to the wall, we got to the door. It slid open. Inside it was a small warehouse, with a few crates. One crate near the door was open. Derveoux used his stick cam. "2 guys, talking, i can get them from here" "do it". The stick cam is a small camera under the barrel of the gun, it is attached via infa red to an eye piece. So by poking the gun arounbd a corner, you can snipe, and not even be seen. He poked his F-2000 around the corner. 2 silenced rounds went off, "all clear" he said.

We got down stairs with no resistance. I was surprised how empty this part of the base was. it was a square room, with a hole in the centre, a small submarine was in the hole. "Under water missions?" said West. What ever they were doing, it wasn't good. Eye in the scope, i fired, hitting a fule tank, and leaking fule into the sea. "hehehe..." i whispered. Scanning the area, i saw a CCTV. I had been told not to gas or shoot CCTV. So we were care ful to go undernieth it. "...So i says, say that and stay fashonable!" "hahahahah..." 2 guards came in, joking about. S*** they had seen us, it was too late to hide. West fired first. His 3 bullets hitting the first guard in the neck. The other guard saw. "This is murphy! we have intruders in..." he was dead. I had shot him. Damn it, know we have been compramised.

It does seem a bit like Metal Gear Solid. But what the hey!

i know. Its just a coincedence that i noticed after i made the first chapter. Each chapter wil be from another marines point of view. By the way, this is an SAS team, so all the characters are british.

I went with Maclenny. After Derveroux took out the guards, we entered the room. I walked over to the open crate. Inside were racks and racks of G36 rifles. "Sir, i think you need to look at this" i shouted. Maclenny came running. "Damn it, they got better weaponry, these fire AP bullets, we had better be careful". Suddenly Paegans voice came over the comm. "Sir, we have been spotted by 2 guards, they are both dead, but one of them got half a transmition throught to their command, i think they might have gotten it" "damn it, I want you and west back he-" the alarms sounded. "oh crap" said deveroux. I lay down at the door, waiting to open fire at anything not in our team. I loaded a grenade, HE, just in case.

The alarms sounded. "i got a transmition throught from Maclenny, he wants us back upstairs, now!" We ran up the stairs, 3 guards saw us at the top. Liying down, we opened fire, tearing the front 2 to pieces. The third fired at me, the bullets flying over my head. Paegan fired back. Hitting him in the head, as always, he never misses. We were back in the corridoor, when a new door slid open. 2 small people, both with full size uzis walked out. "What the!, Jose, they are here! kill them!" the 2 small people opened fire, 9MM bullets spreying through the air. I fired back, but they both somersaulted away. "ARGH!!!" shouted Paegan. I looked at him, he was pale, more pale then usual, and was dripping blood from his chest.
