It was just a trend. And like trends do, it sent people into a mania, made lots of money, and dyed, and only a few fanatics were left behind. It was a great idea at the time (urk...pokemon cards...).

Hello mudflub2. I do not like Pokemon. I guess the series was okay for children to like, but it is all the merchandising and shoving it our faces that made it really annoying. I used to hate it when I would go to a game store or something and see all Pokemon posters. Very annoying. I am glad it is not very popular anymore, but there will always be new annoying fads that are going to used the same way, to make money only. Pokemon = $$$$$$$$

I got tired of laughing at the series, but playing the card game was actualy fun if I recall. Very expensive though, which has left bitterness for a reptation.

I found my gameboy again recently. The games are still suprisingly enjoyable to play.

The Gameboy games adre still fun, but as for the series. It has lost any and all interesting topics (right, like it had any to begin with). Still, Team Rcket's kinda cool.

The gameboy games are good, and why not? They started the whole thing (Try telling that to the kids). But the cartoons, the toys and the posters are all a bunch of merchandise crap. At one stage I liked the cards, but all I have them for now is until I find a card shop to sell them to (we don't have any in my town).

And Lil' Capri, Team Rocket is not cool, the guy is a woman in disguise, the lady looks like an unflushed toilet, and only I can talk to cats, they can NOT talk to others. And their song and dance is just plain lame.

As a Anime Fan Pokemon is an Insult. It has No Storyline and Bad Graphics. It's a good show for kids who like to see the same thing day after day, but to anyone who knows what proper Anime is, it's an Insult.

I don't know how you define anime but I don't believe Pokemon would be it. It is all 3-d'ish now, I would not say it has bad graphics but I am not an anime freak.

Ok so those Team Rocket dumbsh*its always get foiled by the main dork with his 'odd', no thats no good for them, we'll try queer, zigzags under his eyes (anime at it's worst) and yet they still follow him around. Why don't they just go to a town where he is not?

I don't think they'll have the intelligence to go to another town where the main dork isn't hanging out, they always and I mean always wind up in the same area and surpise surpise they bump into each other...you know the rest
