Are there wild slogs? You know like wolves.

Are slogs demesticated or could there be slogs liveing in the wild like wolves? That would be cool to see a wild slog. Maybe if there are then they would look a little different from their demesticated cousins.

But I have a feeling slogs were made by Vykkers.

It seems Sligs have total control over Slogs, so I can safely say they both come from the same place in the wild. By the way, domesticated is hardly the term to use for the trained Slogs. Let's use the phrase "abused and angry".

Hmm, I never thought of Slogs a wild creatures thats a good idea. My guess is that they are wild creatures and their probably just as agressive as the industrial ones..... ok, mabye not as agressive but still deadly.

well like all domestic creatures they start off wild...and i to believe there are wild slogs out there...slogs could have escaped the industrialists and made a group out side and wild...or perhaps there are wild slogs that just where not captured and bread by the industrialist. and as far as there temperment i believe it to be less deadly then the industrial slogs, yet still as dangerous

Seems reasonable that there should be wild Slogs. I can't imagine them having a temple or being worshipped in any way though.

Slogs weren't created by Vykkers although they have begun to genetically alter them to be bigger, faster and more vicious. I think they plan to sell this new breed of slog to the Magog Cartel Slog Kennels once they get the species right.

a slog temple?
nope... why not a slurg temple then...
only sacred creatures have temples: paramites, scrab, meeches, mudokons.

Slogs aren't sacred, but yeah they can be wild

I can imagine wild slogs also. Not only would there be a native wild breed, but there would also be Slogs that were once domesticated and have escaped or been "dumped" (like happens with the cats and dogs of our world ).

I don't think that Slogs are a creature that has been developed by the Vykkers. I think they are a native animal, however they have been trained by Sligs at an early age to act as guard dogs. Also, they have become victims of the Vykkers experiments, such as the large slogs and the water based slogs that we see in MO.

I always figured that slogs, fleeches, and slurgs were ALL genetically created creatures from the Vykkers. Think about it. What creatures on oddworld look like slogs? none. What slogs have you seen in the wild? none. What do you need in a guard species? Vicious, mobile, expendable, and hungry. They are a stereotypical genetically created creature. They look to me like they were built and now they have been pumped with the same muscle mass growth chemicals as the Big Bro Sligs. To back up the genetic creatures thing, I see fleeches as being small, cuddly, cute (by oddworld standards), and allways ready to lick your face. The perfect pet. Except for the doody... which is why the Vykkers would create a living pooper skooper which cleans up EVERYTHING your pet could leave behind. When the glucks dropt the Fleeches, they flushed down some slurgs with them. I think alot of things in Oddworld, though they seem commonplace, were not there a few centuries ago. But to back up the native slog thing, Slogs must be trained on certain sites like Sloghuts. In these places, sligs cannot control the slogs and will be eaten by them if thrown in their areas. NOT A SLIGS BEST FRIEND.

I think there are wild slogs, but the sligs started to capture them and breed different types of them. Just like humans. We found dogs with the capabilities we wanted, and bred them with others until we had a new breed. I think that now, the slogs have been bred in only one way so much that there is only one type of industrial slog. But if you go into the wild, you'll find different breeds of slog that are faster, some are smarter, some are smaller, etc...
