Phleg Why does he look so different?

Why does Phleg look so different. Perhaps he may look different from all the other glukkons because of being maybe premature at birth. Or is this a new step in Glukkon Evolution?
If he did have a condition it could explain why he made the mistakes he did while he was in charge of boneworks. Like telling how to destroy Boneworks, and why he seemed to be less inteligent then the other Glukkons. or is it just another flaw with greedy money hungry Glukkons, who make so many mistakes.

Some people have rationalized that Phleg was born of a different Glukkon queen than the other Glukkons.

My theory is the now crowned Multi-Queen Theory . I believe that Phleg is a offspring of a different Glukkon Queen.
Let us look at his physical traits first, and let us compare.
Phleg:
greenish black skin
Stocky build
large and broad head
large lower jaw

Maggies Glukkons:
pinkish purple dark skin
skinny build
tall and narrow head
regular sized jaws

Now let us look at mental traits
Phleg: obviously not as intelligent as the Glukkons of queen Maggie, what he lacks in brain power he makes up in muscle power, as i could imagine him a very physically powerful Glukkon.

Maggies Glukkons:
Obviously more intelligent then Phleg, what they lack in physical strength they make up in brain power.

OK so with that much said we are looking at a difference. we can tell phleg is different in many ways.....but if he is from a different Queen why does the Magog Cartel have him? Perhaps Phleg was givin away or adopted, into the Magog Cartel. To size up my theory further let us look at why it is a possibility that Phleg falls in the Multi-Queen theory. Phleg unlike many others did not look as if he new what he was doing...he also seemed to be more highly tempered then the others. if someone could look at the AE movie as the MOM were talking in the room and listing to what Phleg says, could you post it please i think there is a link in the dialog. However you may take this theory to be plain and simple Phleg is most likley a Glukkon from a different Queen.

Possibly you are 100% correct. Could Phleg have been from a subclass queen from the Octigi 0.2. Maybe if he had been adopted by the Magog Cartel, they may of thought of him as a Premature Glukkon and thinking nothing of it. As in my thought.

Or could he have been there for a darker purpose...possibly to infiltrate the magog cartel. Thoughts?

Maybe its just.. age or something. He could be older, yet more incompetent and more muscular. Skin tone may change, it does in our world.

I dont believe Phleg is from the 0.2 branch, but it could be that he was from a different Glukkon Queen. But who knows?

1) Someone once asked Alf the ages of Phleg, Aslik, Dripik and the Brewmaster. Alf's reply was that they were all 29, coincidentally. He also said 'Phleg was 29 for at *least* 17 years...' That implies that it's been 17 years since he was actually 29, but he hasn't admitted histrue age since then, which would make him 46 (29 + 17, that is). I'm not sure I agree, though, because Molluck is 43, and Phleg looks younger than him.
2) I don't think so. If anything, I reckon he's more intelligent.

Perhaps i was mistaken on what i was looking for. is it just me or did Phleg address the word mom in the dialog?

i do think i am wrong and i dont think he did but something lead me to think that. Anyway i rest my theory and i will keep my decision the same.

I do agree there has to be other queens on Oddworld. I mean glukkens come with many differences. Not only Phleg but look at Lulu aswell. He looks very different compared to all the other glukkens. What sort glukken family does Lulu come from anyway?

Also the differences are in the tone of voice in each glukken too. Like you get that italean style with Lulu and then you get Russian with the Brew Master. Hey does the Brew Master Glukken have a name? Or is it just BrewMaster?

I like the idea that Phleg was born of a different Glukkon Queen, it makes for a difference of the normal Maggie born Glukkons.

Phleg looks the best out of them all, he has character.

Well some of the things that lead me to believe Phleg was a little less inteligent because I recall in the boneworkz level he says that the boiler wheels will not shut down and destroy bone workz when in fact he then says

Do not attempt to turn those wheels and destroy boneworkz. He completely tells Abe what to do and that he changes his mind not even really knowing what he did. Though you do have a point,

Dripik cant even remember his own name, that is really a sign of less inteligence, or he just is forgetful either way.

Just because most glukkons are terrible speakers dosn't mean they have low IQ's. I usually sound like a complete idiot when I talk, but my grades in school are really high.

As for why Phleg looks different... because he does. It would be boring if all of the glukkons where identical.
