I think that the Vykkers Conglomerate is a Supercorporation like the Magog Cartel, possibly its main rival. This would mean that we [well, I] have been wrongly thinking of the Vykks as if they were all Medics or scientists, when they likely have as wide a range of careers as Glukkons...

I wonder if there's a Magog Labs too, that just isn't as successful as the Vykkers' one...

And maybe the Vykkers' Conglomerate has Meat Processing Plants similar to Rupture Farms, only less successful... After all, we know that it was the Vykkers who packaged and supplied Gabbiar...

Rettick, you don´t know...We aren´t Magog cartel or Glukkons rivals, our relations are " simbiotics " they give us the molah and we give them our knowledge... and all are happy here in Oddworld. It´s a happy world.

I was also thinking the same thing, but decided to stick with the previously designated reputations: the Glukkons are certainly not capable of actually doing any work, and simply send squadron of slaves out to do all the work for them - they are barons of the land, using anything they come across as a product.

The Vykkers, however, are more 'scientific' in their gaining of products such as heavy research on cute and furry animals. The Vykkers Conglomerate and Magog Cartel certainly are seperate companies, but I'd say the latter were more obsesed with profit, while the former prefers reputation and being cruel to Fuzzles.

hey, i wasn't saying the two corporations were identical, i was just suggesting that maybe the Vykkers branch out a bit from Medical Science, just like the Glukks branch out from Food Production...

maybe some day the vykkers will take over oddworld instead. since theyre clearly more technologically advanced. but, gluks do have a lot of sligs, and really really big sligs. and both types have guns. how many licks does it take to get to the center of a major glukkon corporation? the oddworld may never know.
