Has anybody signed up to be a honoary inhabitant over at oddworld.com? I did. I wounder what kind of info they are going to send me? Maybe information on Squeek or M.E! If you sign up you will recieve an e-mail from Alf thanking you. Plus you will get a first hand glimps at secret oddworld stuff. Like possibly info on the next games or other such things like that. But I will have to wait a few weeks till I start recieving first glimps information on anything.

They said you will have to wait at least 3 to 6 weeks before you start getting information. Typical of OWI to do that. Oh well I guess we will have to wait 3 to 6 weeks.

I think he meant that he already knew everything about the games that have already been released (like everyone else here on the forums knows) - least, that's how I read it, as I don't see how a mailing list would send out emails only to a few people - what'd be the point in having a mailing list, in that event?

Yep, I checked my e-mail. Nuttin yet! I guess we all have to be patient on this one. I don't know when we will get something but I know we will sometime. The question is when?

I think the key is to be patient. It's the same as when we were waiting for info on Munch or Oddworld.com to be updated. You always get a few people that whinge and complain that it's taking too long or something like that.

One must remember that Oddworld/OWI/Alf are busy as are many people who work. Yes, they are working on sending something to us, but they have other things to do also. The other things might prioritize for whatever reason.

Also, another possible reason why they have not sent anything yet, is that they are building up the mailing list. No use sending everything a week after, when if they wait they will get more people sign up.

And remember they did tell us it would be several weeks.

So the lesson of this is ... good things come to those who wait!!! They are doing this because they want to do it for us, not because they have to.

Response has been tremendous. Fans from all over the world have replied. We are prepping some cool stuff for those who supplied snail mail addresses but we are off the e3. Look for cool stuff in 4 to 6 weeks at the very earliest.
