Slipknot Concert!

Slipknot r finally coming to Australia in March, and there coming to Melbourne on the 9th! But i'm not sure if i should go by myself... U c I'v seen when Slipknot preform the crowd go nutz real nutz, In fact last 1 i saw there was a massive brawl all i saw was chairs and bottles been thrown all over the place! Alot people get seriously injured at there concert's, infact some people have came close to death...There are always ambulance's parked out side were ever they preform, even the members of the band go completly nutz they start throwing up and beating each other up to. I would bring 1 of my friends but they all hate slipknot all R&B and rap freaks... So do u ppl think it would be safe 4 me to go on my own?

I think you shouldn't go, you would need someone else to accompany you.

People have been killed at these things, and Max says he doesn't want you to go either.

The reason he hasn't posted this is because his account was hacked into and when he asks for his password it sends it off to another email

Alcar the only reason Max does'nt want to go to the concert is because he said his to short, he would get squashed with out other ppl even knowing about it, but don't forget Slipknot r in melbourne 1 night, 4 god knows how long if i mess em now it will be a few more years until i get another change to c em.

Surfacing... I think you should go. If they are your favorite band it would be the only time that you will get to see them for years. I know when I missed the Metallica concert back in 1992... I had to wait 3 years for them to return to Australia!!!

I have some advice for you though if you decide to go. If it is a general admission concert, stay towards the middle-back of the crowd. If there is a choice for reserved seats, get a reserved seat. It may not seem as cool than going at the front... but from my experience with different metal/alternative concerts... the mosh pit is the most dangerous place to be. Even for a band that is not known for being violent (or having a violent crowd), it can be pretty bad in there. I myself got pulled to the ground during Hole at the Big Day Out many years ago. It is an experience I never want to go through again... as it is quite scary being at the bottom of a surging crowd with some people not realizing you are down there, and others trying to help you get up.

Other than that, don't let anyone provoke you, stay away from any problem areas. I always went to concerts by myself (sometimes my brother would go with me), as none of my friends were really into the same type of music that I was.

Abe Babe...

i agree with Abe Babe on this one...go for it!
i ahve been to a couple slipknot concerts, and while the pits ARE harsh, they're not so bad if you know how to handle yourself.
But then i'm a fairly large guy, so i don't have problems with throwing people off me.
and by large, i don't mean fat, i just mean really tall and well big.
go for it dude.
