Mario sunshine is Mario 2 and will be out 6 months after the launch in the USA
Mario 2 will hit in Japan in 2002 March and the States and Europe in May 2002.
According to Japanese reports, Shigeru Miyamoto, legendary creator of Nintendo’s beloved mascot Mario, yesterday told reporters that Mario Sunshine (this moniker has yet to be confirmed) would not make the launch of Gamecube in Japan on September 14.
The game is to be shown at Space World tomorrow, and full details of plans for the launch of what is arguably the most anticipated title in the history of videogames are likely to be revealed. Other behemoth franchises, the like of which are the infinite envy of other hardware manufacturers, are also rumoured to be making their next generation debut in Tokyo tomorrow, such as Zelda and Metroid prime,too human and Thornado among others.
So it looks like MO and Metal gear 2 and a few others will have to hold me over until Mario and the other top Gamecube titles get here. 6 more months of waiting.It would have been perfect to have MO,Metal gear 2 and Mario all at once on all 3 systems this Fall. With all that's coming there really will never be a dull moment.
