Call me crazy, but I was playing AO today and I noticed that when sligs walk u can observe something coming out of their butts!I wonder if they're tails!

Are you blind? Xavier posted a freaking picture. They're exhaust pipes, there's no questions about it.

From a logical standpoint, perhaps the developers didn't have the inspiration to add the exhaust smoke in that time. After all you expect to hear the growl of motor, too, instead of that wrench-like squeaking noise when they walk. Besides they need space for their tails.
