Yeah the Slig takes the hits but when it dies, you're screwed because the others tend to carry on blasting you.

It was from the "And Now For Something Completely Different" DVD.
I got it in a 4 pack with the other Monty Python Films.

Some of the performances are slightly different than either the original TV show or the american tour DVD.

Are those still for sale because I bought a three pack which unfortunately did not include that - it was Holy Grail, Life of Brian and Meaning of Life. I still haven't seen "And now for something completely different", is it as good as the other three.

It was a 6-dvd boxset. It had an orange cover.
Basically it's a sketch show version of the best bits from the Flying Circus collection. Some of the sketches are so-so, but there are quite a few laugh-out-loud moments as well. I included a few of those in my Oddworld Parody 2 Video.

Two more little bits of info;

1) You can't possess Meeps for some reason
2) It's possible for 15 scrubs to beat a Scrab to death in hand to hand combat.

Well, typically if you are using the Slig as a human shield... you're holding him in front of you so that the Sligs shoot him. If you're facing away, they will be shooting at you, and the Slig will not offer you any protection BTW this only works if you have unlimited lives and sneak up on the Slig in order to pick him up. (Since when the Slig dies, the others will be shooting at you).

Still, it works nicely as a last resort.
