Anyone else do their taxes yet? I just did mine and I'm getting a refund of over 4,000.00 dollars. Pretty good haul this year.

Our rebates thing happens around March I think.

And I just have ring them up and tell them I want them.

Alas, I do not have to do those money-stealers called 'taxes', as I have yet to pass 15 years.

Needless to say, I won't even have to look at a tax form for 4 more years.

But man, OANST, I think you just opened a can of worms. I'm sure people will debate the idea of taxes and other government tricks in this.

I spent most of the last financial year overseas so not much tax for me, what with the working illegally and all.

Should get a good haul next year though.

I only work for about 25 to 30 hours a week at a job a hair better than Wisconsin's shitty minimum wage and I get a few hundred every year. Its pretty nice. I'm only 19, though.

Australia holds their tax refund period after the start of the new financial year, so I've got to wait for a few more months. I'm expecting a $1500 refund or so at the moment, but that could change with the upcoming change of job.

Just bought a brand spanking new computer with windows vista installed on it. I like it. Very fast and pretty with my 22" widescreen HD LCD monitor. Good times. For me. Not for you.
