My first FanFic: Oddworld BLARG'S Oddessy!

My first Fanfic I would like to get some ideas from you guys. This is just a type of introduction to my story I want to make.

ODDWORLD
BLARGS ODDESSY

Deep in the darkest cornor of Mudos lives a creature who is unknown to the rest of Mudos and oddworld. What makes things odd is he doesent know what he is or where he came from. For he is the only creature of his kind and now he must find out his place on Oddworld or he will die in the process. For this lonely being was born with only a name and his name is Blarg. He has a great oddessy ahead of him and he will meet many friends and foes on his way to finding out his place in Oddworld. Why is he the only creature of his kind ever born? what is his purpose of being on Oddworld? And most importantly who gave birth to this lonely being and why? For Blarg has an unknown lagacy he must fulfill but he must know himself before he can fulfill it. Blarg must not die. For if he were to die Oddworld would be finished. The story begins late at night in a cave where Blarg is accedently discovered by Mudokins. His whole life changes at that moment.

Thats cool Paramite Abe nice modd to the story, keeps me wanting to read. Keep writing!!! I'll give you some ideas tommorrow though must sleep.

Chapter 1 The discovery.

It was late at night deep in a canyon and there was this howl coming from a Scrab standing at the top of the cliff. The moon shown very bright and full. It dimly gave the canyon a dark glow. In the distance a group of Mudokins led by Abe were scouting the area.
So Abe what are we doing out here so late at night? Yea Abe...why? Abe turn to his friends and smiled saying I don't know and farted. The other Muds got upset with him and said you are nuts Abe! Whats get out of here. Abe I think you are hopped up on Saul Storm Brew. Don't leave said Abe I am just making sure there are no Magog Forces coming through the canyon to get us. I don't care Abe I am going back if you want to stay here and get eaten by paramites and Scrabs then do so! I am tired and we have a big day tomarrow. Whats going on tomarrow? Abe said. Don't you know what tomarrow is? One of the Muds said it is the ceromoney for you Abe. Oh yea now I remember. A ceromony of the aniversery of me rescueing you guys from Rupture Farms and Saul Storm Brewery. Sorry I forgot. Then one of the Muds said lets go it's getting late. Abe you coming? Yea hold on I have to get my spear. Ok we will meet you back at home. Alright.

Just as the Muds left Abe looking for his spear in this canyon there came this unusual sound coming from a small area of bushes. Great I found it now I can go home and get some sleep. Then suddenly he herd a frightening howl. Whoe!... What was that? He heard it again and he started to become very scared. He picked up his spear and called out who's there. For this howl did not sound like a Scrab it sounded extremely alain to Abe. Who.. who's there... ahhhhhhhhhhh! The ground started to crumble all around him and Abe fell into a deep dark cave. Whoe I did not see that comeing! As Abe picked himself up and dust himself off he heard it again. This time it was closer than ever. Abe crouched into a ball and tried to hide. For he was frighten and he wanted just to go home. As he was crouched down he stared ahead of him into the dark depths of the cave. Only the moonlight from the hole above shown down on him. Then Abe heard it again and now it was closer than ever. Suddenly the sound stopped and an akward sounding voice came out of the darkness. Who there said this voice. I.. I am Abe. Then with no hesatation came out of the darkness the most unusal looking creature ever to be seen with
the naked eye. Abe Scrambled to his feet and started to walk backwards. Get.. get awey from me! It's ok want some water look very thirsty you do The creature said. My name Blarg. Abe stared at him and kind of chuckled. Your funny! I help you get out of cave Mr. Mudokin. My name is Abe. Ok get me out of here. With a sudden breath of wind from Blargs balloon like mouth pushed him out of the cave. Hey down there, want to come with me. sure and the creature Blarg hovered up like an insect up the hole and was on his way to the Mud village with Abe to seek the Big Face. So what are you Blarg. me don't know? That why me am with you I need to find out Who me is? Thats wierd you don't know what you are? Yea I am only member of me type. You know I should take you to see the Big Face He might know who you are. Ok said the unusueal creature named Blarg. And the two were off to the Village for the night where The oddyssy of Blarg begins.

Ah excellent, I have been waiting for you to write a fan fic, you have some great ideas! I/m glad your writing one. After I finish the Fallen Temple, I have a story with Abe that I will write. Keep writing and stay Odd!!!!

Chapter 2 New visions

As mourning broke over the Oddworld horizon a fairly large shadow moved over the hill side. It was anouther Vykkers lab that seemed to be traveling twords the great Sea of Oddworld. A new lab was created after the old Vykkers Lab was destroyed by Munch. Then a high pitched voice came calling out.

We are Vykkers we live for science ah haha chukled Harry the Vykker. What are you doing Harry? Klork said. Will you just shut up I am testing a new weapon Its a fuzzel gun hehe. A fuzzel gun you say. Yes.. a fuzzel gun. My dearly departed brother Humphery would of honored me for this. You are a genus Harry! No not the Blitz Packer ahhh! Yes the Blitz Packer BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG! thats what you get for not helping me with.. with new expierements. Yes it's done. I guess we need to test this on somebody. Yea Mudokins! Interns turn the Lab around we have work to do Ah..ha ha!

A whole audience of Vykkers gathered in a big room. Harry was going to make a speech to his people. My fellow Vykkers we stand on a new threash hold in all of Vykkers history. We live in an age where stupid naturealist are at war with us. First they effected the Glukkens and there franchises now they are coming after us. What are we going to do! Shut up I will tell you what are we going to do.

For I have new visions for the future of Vykker. What is it? yea what is it? Yes I will tell you. It is a super Vykkers Lab. A greater fortress than the first. Nobody and I mean nobody will be abel to penetrait it. Not even Abe or Munch? Yes not even Abe or Munch. For this fortress has a mega weapon that I have been working on. Behold the Bio sucker. We would never have to leave the fortress again. This baby will suck anything that is moving on the surfice. Normally we would be seaching for are patients this does the seaching for us. No more sonar!

The crowd cheers and Harry laughs with an evil smile. For the Vykkers have this new vision on turning Oddworld into a deaselite wasteland by sucking up all the life forms below for study.

Its all in the name of Moolah people. Then the crowd stood up and said More Moolah!

Chapter 3 The Big face

Back in Abes Village Abe showed his people his new friend. Everyone was astonished of Blarg. As the Big Face approached Blarg wierd things began to happen. My unusial creature who are you Big face said? Blarg standing as still as a statue would stare right into the Big Faces eyes and not say a word. I know who you are Big face. Blarg telepathically replied. Take me across the great sea and you will find wounders there. What the Big face replied? Blarg turned and pointed into the direction of the sea. Blarg then got up and started singing.

The Mudokins were confused at Abes mystereous discovery. Abe come forth I must speak with you. What do you want Big face? You found something that even I don't understand what it is. It is something old and ancient. You should take him to see the Raisin. The Raisin might have answers. Look at him Abe he is indeed something very unieque among us. Abe he is acustom to the spiritral world. How do you know this Big Face? You notice how he was silent when I greeted him. Well he telepathically said something to me that might be the answers we the Mudokin nation have been looking for all this time. And what is that Abe replied? Peer freedom from the Magog the Big Face answered. Whoe You mean there is untouched land out there Abe asked? Yes the Big Face replied. At least to me your new found friend was trying to tell me something at that is what I conclude from it. Take him to the Raisin and come back and tell us what he had to say about Blarg. May your Journeys be odd and safe. Just then Abe called out to Blarg lets go Blarg. Where we go Abe? Blarg replied. We are going to seek out the Almighty Raisin and figure you out. Follow me. K Abe. And the two were off across the deasert to seek out the Almighty Raisin.

Thanks mann I am createing a story that could possibly be a good one. I don't know. But I have been comeing up with this idea for the last week or so. I want Blarg to be something very special. You can say he is like Oddworlds protical son in my mind. Blarg is a creature who can change his form all the time. But he would not remember what he was before. He has the wings of an insect and he has a mouth that can fill up with air like a balloon. I am thinking that not even the Raisin would know about him. I want Blarg to be as old as Oddworld it self Older than the Raisin.Kind of like Oddworlds Adem. The first being of Oddworld. All I know is that Something big is going to happen and I am writing drafts right now. I even drawn the character already. I wish I could show him to you guys but I don't have any web space. But thats ok I will try to describe him more as the story moves on. Maybe I can send e-mail to people and show them the picture of him. I don't know.

Chapter 4 Desert ambush!

The wind swept by and blew across this river that was in the direction of the deasert. Abe and Blarg were traveling the river to the deasert. Abes good old friend Munch paid them a visit. When we get to the Raisin Blarg we are going to fix your problem. Ok Abe. Say Blarg your tone of your voice has changed. Ok Abe I don't know. You know your driving everybody up a wall because you are so confusing.

Hello Abe whats up? Hey Munch long time no see. Yea whos your friend. Munch meet Blarg. Hello! Who that Blarg said? Thats one of my friends, hes a gabbit named Munch. Then Munch said where are you guys headed? To the Raisin. Can I come Abe Munch replied. Sure we might need your help incase we get into trouble. Blarg looked ahead of him and yelled out look wierd guys theres the deasert! Yes lets go Abe said. The three were off but the new Vykkers lab was not far behind them.

It was afternoon while Abe, Munch in his wheel chair and Blarg were crossing the deasert. I am thirsty guys. Munch said. Ok lets take a break phew i am hot! Abe replied. Then Blarg started to sing something. Water water water water water water be here NOW! shouted Blarg. Abe and Munch started laghing. Boy who is your new friend Abe? Munch said. I don't know but something is keeping me from leaving him alone. It's almost as if he is controling me some how. When I first met him he helped me get out of a cave that I fell in. Ever since then I felt that I need to watch him like a parent. Thats wierd Abe Ive been feeling the similar feeling two days ago. Thats why I swam up stream to meet you.

Water Water water water water be here now. Blarg was singing those words and all of a sudden water started to form every where. Whoe Blarg how did you do that? Abe asked. My power I guess Blarg replied. I say stuff and things happen. Cool Abe replied. Help guys help! Munch suddenly yelled out. What is it Munch. Don't move! A gun was pointed on Abes face and Munch was tied up in his chair. A group of sligs were following the three since the river and now they have been caught. Then all of a sudden the labs came floating around the rock wall. Harrys voiced called out down below. Sligs you can have Abe and Munch I want the new guy. Then the sligs took Abe and Munch awey in there deasert vehecal. Don't worry Blarg we will come for you and the Sligs were off with Abe and Munch captured. Now you are mine odd sub creature harry said. A large vacume hose started coming out of the labs and started to suck up Blarg. Blarg was trieing to hold on and fight the sucking power it was too much and he was sucked up. The Bio sucker went back into the labs and the labs left. Now are friends have been captured and ambushed what is harry going to do with Blarg? Time will only tell.

Chapter 5 Blarg testing

When the Vykkers Labs left the area where Abe, Munch, and Blarg were resting. The water in which Blarg has created from his mind was still there flowing like a water fall. In a way Blarg left a mark for someone to find him.

Deep in the dark halls of the Labs was Blarg being taken to the testing room for research. Blarg straped down and tied up like a piece of meat about to be processed was in utter relentless pain because of tightness of the strapes holding him down.

The table of which Blarg was straped to suddenly came to a stop in a pitch black room. Silence filled the room with the poor little creature lieing there helplessly awaiting his fate. A small dim light on the cieling began to flicker and all of a sudden dim lights filled the room. An intern came out pushing a table of surgical equipment next to him.

Mum mumamummum said the Intern. Wack and Blarg was smacked in the face by the relenless Intern. After that the Intern left and Harry came in. interesting sub creature you are arent ya! Said Harry. Boy would I like it so much to cut you open and see what makes you.....you tick. A hahahahaha! Hold still you stupid thing you are! I want to put this on you. It was a small collar incase Blarg tried to escape it would electricute him.

My fellow Vykkers before I operate on this interesting creature I want to thank you for supporting me in my work because if you didn't. Well... you be blasted by my Blits Packer too! So listen or die! Then one of the Vykkers in the audience wispered to his neighbor. Sheesh hes more dangerous than Humphery was! What was that, I heard that. Well people it looks like we have a spoiled little brat in are audience. Come here my fellow Vykker said Harry. Who me said the Vykker? Yea you, who else! Then the Vykker walked slowly out on the floor frighten to death for what was going to happen to him. I would like to reward you sarcastically said by Harry. Cool mann thanks! Now fellow Vykker turn right and walk 5 steps slowly said Harry. Ok said the Vykker But But why? Just do it! Bu! JUST DO IT your reward is waiting for you. Alright and the Vykker started to take 5 steps slowly to the right. Any way my fellow Vykkers what we have here is a creature we have never seen before. This creature must be tested. One. There are unique features on him that I intend to cut off and use for study. Two. As you can see the creature has an inflaitible mouth part like a leather bag for a chin. three. And he has long very fine, thin, and clear wings. Four, Say over ther what is my prize Harry? Will you just shut up I am busy here! Ok said the Vykker. Anyway we see the short stubby legs with one claw for each and long arms which inturn can be legs as well. Five BOOM! Well I guess are friend found his prize hehehe laughs Harry. These legs look like they could climb up slippery surfaces with the single claw to grab the surface with. I will start here and we will further move up his body cutting off the parts we don't need and putting the ones we do need in jars. Let us begin said Harry.

Then all of a sudden the lights went out. What MuMuMuMuMam muummam said the Intern. Ok My fellow Vykkers we are expierenceing technical problems we are going to have to pick this up later. Boo the Audience yells back. Lets go fix the problem. then all of the Vykkers and Interns left the room with Blarg Still strapped in the table. How many times do I have to tell them never keep fuzzles near electrical equipment but does anybody listen No! So I have to go down clean up and fix the electricity. I can't take this anymore I have so much stress I need a vacation. Swish the door shuts and and it is silent.

Chapter 6 Margret

Deep in the hall of Larva where her Majesty Margret resides a Glukken Chump Gives the nasty queen some wounderful news of the capture of Abe and Munch.

Your majesty we have found the Mudoken terrest Abe and the Fuzzel freedom fighter Munch crossing the deasert. We got them your majesty. Very good chumlik bring those two to me I want to see them personally said Margret. Very well Mother. A Feeco Depot train came rolling near the entrance to the queens layer and stoped. A bunch of sligs and two cages with Munch in one and Abe in the other was rolled out on the platform. What are you going to do with us said a Abe? Swish a slig whiped them both. No talking your going to maggie. Abe started to chant but the cages were chant surpressors. Aha you can't get me laghed a slig. Oh yea soon all of my friends are going know about this stupid slig. Replied Abe. I can see now Squeek, Nod and Sling will come for Munch and I soon enough. said Abe. Shut up said the slig. Then all of a sudden the Glukken named Chumlik came out escorted by two Big Bros. Her Majasty waits. Bring em Forth.

As the two cages rolled to the Chamber where Lady Margret resides. Abe and Munch were thinking about Blarg and what he must be going through. Mann I hope Blargs alright Munch said. Yea me too Abe replied. Silence yelled the slig the queen awaits. Bring them in yelled Margret. Yuk descusting creature Abe and Munch said. Ah yes if it isn't the so called Abe and Munch. The leaders of the renegade naturalist army. I have been looking forword to this day for a while. I want Lungs little Gabbit and I want to eat you Blue Mudoken. You make a good Mudokin Pop margret said. Hmm I am going to start with you Abe. After shutting Rupture Farms down and many other palces you ruined me so I will ruin you.

then as the Lady Margret was just about to pick up Abe and eat him a loud screeching noise came from deep in the hall. What was that? said Margret. All the Glukkens and sligs nodded and said I don't know your Majesty. Then Chumlik herd it again. Wait a minute that sounds like someone I once knew. Oh my odd we got to get out of here. What Chumlik what are you babbling about said Margret. He's coming said Chumlik. Who's coming? Asked Margret. Just leave no time Chumlik replied. Margret yelled come back you stupid Glukkens you forgot me come back! For Abe and Munch knew what this sound was for they seen it before. Who is coming? What is making that high pitch squeel? we will find out soon enough.

Chapter 7 squeek

As all of the Glukkens left in a hurry to get out of the hall the screeching was getting louder and louder. Lady Margret started to feel very sick and tired.

Come back you stupid Glukkens come.... back! Margret said yawning. Then all of a sudden Margret fell to the platform and started to sleep. The screeching stoped and was replaced by the singing voice of squeek. Hello guys I am here to get you out of here squeek said. Hey squeek hows it going get us out of these cages. Squeek took his big claws and ripped the locks of the cages and Abe and Munch were free. Thanks squeek said Abe. Sure thing guys anytime. I will go ahead and see if it is safe to get through. Then squeek flapped his huge wings swooped down the hall to see if the coast was clear.

I can't believe squeek came Munch. Yea me too. I havent seen him in a while. I should have known that since Chumlik was around squeek had to be close. Yea Abe your right. I am just glad were free. Squeek came flying back and said every thing is clear everybody is a sleep. Good Squeek for useing your sleep squeel on everybody now they will be a sleep for a while. Abe replied. Lets go said Munch. Yes we can hijack that Feeco train and squeek can fly ahead and make sure there is no danger Abe said. What ever you want Abe. where are we going ask squeek. Well we have a new friend that has been caught by Vykkers and we need to get him out of the Vykkers labs. Abe replied. His name is Blarg said Munch. Funny thing guys I had a dream about me saveing a creature named Blarg said squeek. Could this mean something guys? Squeek said. Abe and Munch looked at each other and said do you know what I know? Squeek's haveing the same thing we are haveing. This is very interesting said Abe. Yea I don't understand at all said Munch. Lets get out of here squeek I will have to explain this Blarg to you while we are on the way. Alright mann said squeek. And our three heros were off to find Blarg. Mean while Lady Margret began to wake up. What happen? No not again those two tricked me again I will get even with this once in for all! The angry Margret screamed and yelled for Margret was in a large cage tied up. For squeek put her there with his mind powers. Will our friends ever find Blarg? Or will it be too late?

I decided to use the next charecters of the quintology because of the long times between games. I figure why not create my own idea of what squeek is while we are waiting to see what he really is. I figure it's better than having to wait until his game comes out. At least we can imagine what he would look like. I am also going to put in others like Nod. Even though he might not be a character in the quintology. And I thought of the fith character. His name will be Sling. If you like you can add more characters to my story that you made up. Blarg is about all of the Inhabitants of Oddworld and this story takes place after the quintology. You can even give me ideas for industrial characters you made up in your stories anything is great. Hey Al you can even have your characters of your story in mine or anybody else's stories. Blarg is about his relations to everybody on Oddworld. I want at the end of this story a lot of inhabitants mentioned and. I am looking at all of Oddworld. So anything you create that is Oddworld themed it is perfectly cool with me to have them in my story also ok. Your ideas are wounderful. So feel free to add new characters you made up if you want. Thank you

Chapter 8 The search

It has been three days since the discovery of Blarg and the ambush in the deasert by the sligs and Vykkers. Abe, Munch, and squeek have escaped the glukken queen and are on there way to the Vykkers labs to save Blarg. Mean while back in the Mudokin village the elders started to get worried about Abe.

Big face what are we going to do? One of the elders spoke out. I don't know it has been three days since are friends left for the Raisen. They should be back by now. Something is wrong. Think Abe is alright? Said the elders. I hope so said Big Face. We need to send out a scout to see if they are ok said Big Face.

Ill go said a quite voice among the elders. Who speaks? Said Big Face. It is me said Alf. Alf you want to search for are friends? Yes I know the deasert. Don't you remember I was with Abe in the deasert when I had my first Brew.

I think I can find them said Alf. Very well said The Big Face but be careful your not as agile as Abe is. I know Big face But I am smart. So now Alf packed his loins and food and was off to search for his friends. Will Alf find them or will he be eaten by Paramites and Scrabs in the process? Time will tell. And what is happening to Blarg?
