Best game in quintology series

Which do you think is the best game in the quintology?

Does not matter if it is not part of the actual quintology.

That's a toughy. I have never played SW or MO, so I can't say anything about that. AO certainly had orginality, but AE had expansing enviroments and characters. Plus Quiksave. Man, that a toughy. AO was also serious and frightening, but there were AE's moments. I can't decide. But I bet AE would've been really hard if you didn't have Quiksave.

Stranger's Wrath isn't part of the Quintology, and technically, neither is Abe's Exodduss. So it's between MO and AO. I'd say the answer is most obvious.

But, for the record, SW is the best game in the series so far.

Abe's Oddysee by far. Darkest yet, seemed to be the most spiritual/mythical. Even though it wasnt a Quintology game, I enjoyed Abe's Exoddus almost equally as AO, for once again dark humor, but there was a slight difference somewhere with it.

This is tough. Either AO or AE but since AE is the first game I played (from the series) it's probably the best to me.

AE gets my vote because of the varied gameplay, but AO was more original.

AE is NOT part of the Quintology. Type in Oddworld in Google video and watch the Munches Oddysee Review.

It is a tie for me between AO and SW, but I voted for AO on the poll.

I like AO and SW about the same, but I went with AO since it's been around longer, and it's the reason I got into Oddworld.

Xaviers right, their was going to be 5 quintology games which each introduced its own character. every quintology had 1 or 2 'bonus games' which could be considered plot fillers, because they don't introduce a new playable character.

IMO bonus games purpose is to add detail to the story line without being significant. The point of AO was to help Abe escape and save as many mudokons as possible along the way. While in AE the game was all about saving MORE mudokons from oppresion.

AO is best IMO..............

Yeah, what I always imagine it as is a set of books. AO is the first book. But only the first part of the book is called AO. The second part is AE. Always makes me think of Le Guin's The Wizard of Earthsea, where the actual story "The Wizard of Earthsea" took up only part of the book.

I coudn't decide betwen AO and AE. I played AO when I had 11 or 12 on PS. I found AE much later but it's great. So probably my list would look like this:
1.AO (or AE)
2.AE (or AO)
3.SW
4.MO
Last two games i didn't played (Stupid EA and XboX. There are more consoles than a Games). Story of MO is good but I do not like characters. SW have great atmosfere, enviroments and characters are not bad (so western). But I hate the name of the city "new yoLk" (changing the one or two letters of the real city name is so patetic).

I like all of them because they each have such good features. But in terms of which one I find the most fun to play, I would say AE. Of course, I still have yet to play SW, so this porbably isn't my best opinion.
