Foetus in Jar...?

Hm. I dunno how to post the relevant picture, but on Syd's site, you know those little what-look-like-foetuses in the jars?

We-ell... the one next to "Fan Corner" - baby slig?

And what the frack are all the rest?? Ngh, I'm getting eye-strain trying to see properly...

There definately looks to be a couple of Gabbits in there... they are likely being preserved for various reasons. The most intriging creature in my opinion is the one in the center top.

the top right one looks like a scrab, and the center bottom one looks something like a paramite. the center top one? haven't a clue, it reminds me of something but its not coming to me at the moment...

they all look like mutated gabbits, they might be trying to enhance a gabbit because of the lack of gabbiar, lungs. etc.

I agree with Oddbodd, they look like failed genetic experiments as they seem to have elements from quite a few creatures in them. Some of them even look like Shrykull. I have a clearer version of the pic, it's one of my favorites:

I always thought that most of them were genetically altered gabbits. I was looking for the scrab like you said...if you look at it one way, it looks like a scrab, if you look at it another way it looks like a gabbit.

i love that picture it used to be my personal photo. some of the specimens do look like gabbits mabye they are underwater relatives of the gabbits.

Haven't you guys ever seen films where they show the inside of some sadistic laboratory? This image is just like it's been taken out of one of those movies.

There are jars and big capsules preserving deformed hybrids of various animals. The Island of Dr. Moreau springs to mind, as does the latest Aliens movie with Sigourney Weaver.
