"You live to be happy, not to be a soldier from the time you were a child, or be a child producing machine, like queen Skylla." - Queen Sligra

CHAPTER VERY MUCH: KNETH'S DEPARTURE
There were many wooden houses in the village. The biggest was the one in the middle. "There lives our queen Sligra." said the big slig. "Enter." The door opened, and the sligs walked trough.
Inside, they saw the queen. She looked like a normal slig, but was twice as big (and female.). "Greetings." she said. "What do you seek in Muun forest?" The sligs began to tell the story, about the mudokon terrorists, the crash, the paramite pit, the shrykull, the vision... They were talking for hours, and it became afternoon. "Tomorrow, we are going to seek that vehicle." said Nurck. "What a sad story." said queen Sligra. "We know where the vehicle is. In the dark part of the forest, in the south. It's a region full of bats and fleeches. It's dangerous there. But we don't know what the vehicle is. But, you must be weary. You can sleep at the tavern, there are some sleeping bags for unexpected visitors there." They all went to the tavern, and quikly fell asleep.
They awoke the next morning. "Hey, where is Kneth?" said Morck, after looking around a while. "Yeah, where is he?" said Murck. The door of the tavern opened. And there was Kneth. He had put away his pants, and had some tattoos on his arms: three red stripes each. He still weared his mask. "What the...?" said Nurck. "I joined their tribe." said Kneth. "You don't mean..." said Flir, shocked. "Yes, I stay here." said Kneth. "The sligs here have everything: The are close to nature, and happy. And we? We live a boring life in the barracks. When you guys were sleeping, I had a conversation with queen Sligra. She seemes to like me. Anyway, it is like she said to me: You live to be happy, not to be a soldier from the time you were a child, or be a child producing machine, like queen Skylla." A moment of silence. Then, Flir said: "Well, bye then, we go to home. it was good to know you, and I want to thank you for everything you have done for us. You are the best friend we ever had." The other sligs agreed. "Here, take my gun." said Kneth. "I have still some ammunition left. Farewell."
The whole tribe, now including Kneth, came to say the sligs goodbye. The sligs climbed out of the tree, continuing their path. "Farewell Kneth, we will miss you." they said, before going.
Here ends Kneth's part in this story. Later, he would see his friends again, but that is another story...
