Do you mean saving them from somewhere (eg. burning building) and stopping them from dying that way? Or you know they are supposed to die and you stop it?

So....what you're asking is to choose between letting someone die because it's "their time" or saving them at no cost. I would think only christian scientists (shudder) would choose the former option.

Anyway, it would be hard to choose. I eman if was someone you loved dearly then you wouldn't want to kill them. But, I still think death should be all powerful and not to be meddledd with.
