Leaving for The worlds crap-pile

As some of you may or may not know, earlier today my mother was pronounced dead in hospital. She had been in intensive care for a week, and after to Brain-stem operations and a few brainscans, they found her brain was fully damaged and that she could not live without the life support.

Since this has been found out the life support has ceased and her organs have been donated.

She had had an emergency brain operation last Sunday due to a brain hemhhorage (sp).

Because of this I thought it would be polite to inform you that I'm not going to be on the forums for a couple of weeks. I know I have little to no imput in the forums anyway, but just to be nice.

Rexy, you have my deepest sympathy as well. You're a total sweetheart and will be missed in your time away, but take as long as you need.

Also, hearing that your mother's organs were donated is nice. Surely, some sort of comfort is provided by knowing that although she's gone, she could be saving several others' lives.

Oh my goodness Rex hon I'm so very sorry. I haven't been around for a few months and come back to this sad news. I really feel for your loss and my thoughts and *HUGS* are with you and your family in this time.

Woah, Rexy, I can't believe this has happened. In all honesty, I empathise with you, and I hope you're able to get through it okay. I often wonder what I'd do without my Mother, and I usually end up crying when I dwell on such thoughts. I hope she has a lovely funeral, and you'll be in my prays.
