Goodbye (for a while)

Well its that time of year again; my work is shutting down for the next week and a half and, seeing as my home internet connection is slow as, I won't be visiting the forums for a while.

Not that I have the time anyway. My sister's getting married on Wednesday and we're all running around doing the last minute organisations. I personally can't find a shirt to match my suit and tie. It seems that sandy-yellow is not in fashion at the moment as there is nothing in any store. I'll find something and then post the wedding photos in the What Do You Look Like thread.

So enjoy yourselves in my absence. Don't post too much cos I can't be bothered reading pages and pages of threads when I come back.

Actually, if you look at my sig, you will notice it says "Currently Busy." My sig speaks the truth. With holidays on the way and some secret OWW business afterwards, I'm not going to have as much time on zee forums as usual. I'll still visit as often as I can, though.

Nate_Dog_woof, you would make a great future moderator, you have done amazing things for the forums, *crying* where gonna miss you man. Normally I wouldn't have time to post either with the next issue of the unoffical Oddworld magizine in the works and local Oddworld magizine fans getting in the way that keep asking "when is it going to be done, is anything cool in it" and, not to mention that blasted high quality paper takes forever to print on but luckly I pulled to Oddworld fans off the streets of our neighborhood to but them into the salt mines of our Magizine career. I will write something small in the Oddworld Forums news section of the magizine about your temporary leaving. Something like "Nate_Woof_Dog, a dedicated forum member, will be leaving the forums for the holiday seasons" in about size 12 font with all the other happenings on the forums.

Yeah. I read it. Quickly. Because its taken me the last four hours to get up to date and I'm two minutes of leaving work. So I'll give a holiday update tomorrow, filled with news on weddings, cousins, sunburn and boomerang injuries.

No offense Nate_Dog_Woof, but Shadowman, was that sarcasm? I honestly can't tell, as I can't think of anything NDW has done for the forums, except not be a retarded poster, which is a good thing, but nothing epic.

Nate would probably be good moderator but then so would a lot of other posters.

Now I'm going to try to post this for a third time and hopefully I won't get another database error:

I'll try and keep this short.

1. My cousins arrived from England which is always fun. They didn't stay with us this time as my aunt has bought an apartment on the beach as an investment and holiday house when she comes here.

2. The wedding was great. Very fun and casual, only 120 people which is very small for a Jewish wedding. There was a five minute time limit on parents' speeches which helped. And my sister, the groom and the bridesmaid/MC's speeches were very funny. My brother in law even wrote a song and sang it for my sister.

3. Sunbaking. Got very sunburnt and am quite uncomfortable sitting here at work. I'm hoping it won't peel though because I won't have another opportunity to get a tan the rest of this summer.

4. Boomerang. It was my other cousin's birthday on Sunday so we went to Albert Park Lake and (among other things) chucked a frisbee around. He also had a boomerang. It was actually the first time I've successfully thrown one. One time he threw it and it was coming towards me so I started running and it hit me on the ankle. Thing is, if I'd stayed in the same position it would have missed me so I effectively ran into the boomerang. Don't worry, it's not a major injury, merely a bruise.
