Over here, you "rent" a film/ game and "hire" a car. So I completely understood what you said.

Well f*ck buggery! I guess that woman that came into the video store where I work was just retarded.
This woman from England (I know not just because she had the accent, but later on she explained to our manager that she was, indeed, from England) came in one day and asked to "hire" a movie. The manager, not sure of what she was asking, politely asked her to repeat what she said. Eventually he got the gist of what she was saying (apparently, her accent was very thick and not exactly intelligible to 'Merkan ears) and said "Oh! You mean
rent a movie!" Well, she got a little indignant, apparently, and fumed "
Yes I mean 'rent' a movie! I guess that's what
you call it!"
So I just assumed the general term was "hire" instead of "rent." True story. Or so my manager says. That's what I get for making an assumption based on a story, I suppose.
Oh, and I would love to have
Metal Gear Solid 3. I love that franchise. Not the most "stealthy" game out there, but it's got some great arcade action. Messed up plot, too. Gotta love that.
