GameSpot updates

In the wake of the EA catastrophe (), GameSpot has offered us some compensation. The latest character profile has been uploaded, this time focusing on Clakkerz. Although the feature is ridiculously short, it's acompanied by an extensive new update of images. There are also two new movies up for grabs - big ones, both over 11MB.

Credit goes to OddBlog.

I don't mean to derail your thread in any way, but has anyone noticed something about Gamespot's videos?

That the video feed lags behind the actual sounds? Strange, and my computer is pretty good though.

That's happens with most videos I watch. They're pretty big videos, and I won't pretend to know the history of your video-watching, that may cause some drag to your RAM, cache or whatever I mean. I haven't even looked at them, yet. I haven't downloaded 9 of the new videos from IGN, yet.

You most certainly do, coz I see it too. They must have done that on purpose, but I wonder why.

With the amount of videos that have come on the internet about strangers wrath, I have not watched any of them. The only reason i'm doing this is because I want to buy the game and hear what they sound like from there. I have no idea what the clakkers sound like, and I have no idea what stranger sound like. The only sound that I've heard from Strangers wrath is the background music they had on the strangers wrath website.

I don't look at videos... I simply mention them and download them
but I don't want the game to be spoiled for me

Its good to see a few new levels in the videos. Very nice looking.

I'm not too sure though about the voices screaming for help in the second one. They don't sound Oddworld at all. They just sound like random people yelling.

I hope that if they're showing those cool clakker designs then that means they'll be in the game because all the ones we've seen so far have looked kinda dull. It would be cruel for them to show us those designs if they didn't end up in the game.
