Nobody is buying it. What a piece of junk. Some people clearly think the ebay clientele will buy anything.

Sick people go to rehabs, when the rehab fixes them they sell there sick stuff to other sick people, those sick people worship there sick stuff until they become old and can't remember who there own kids are, then they die and the kids find the sick stuff and sell it on ebay and then repeat and repeat so the sick stuff stays around forever

It's not so much that. It's more that alot of people need to feel like they own something special. Something that is important in the worlds history. These sellers prey on those people, attempting to sell total junk for horrendous prices.

The best thing to do, is to only ever bid on something which could not possibly be a hoax in any way. For instance, only ever bid on a piece of rope, if you want a piece of rope, but not if the rope was supposedly used for something which cannot be proven. A piece of rope is a piece of rope, it can't be a hoax. However, the ropes use in a suicide could easily be hoaxed. The seller will invariably refuse to provide newspaper cuttings or similar evidence, so even if you do buy it, you yourself will never be able to prove to anyone else the validity of the artifact.

Hey did you read this at the bottom of ebay item page right under were it says Serious bidders only in a huge font
:
Bidders with no positive feedback rating will be removed.
So the creepy person only execpts people with good feed back, ah. Obviously a huge rip off no matter how you look at it. Propaganda at it finest, nothing but a peice of rope in a knot. Someone tried to sell a PS3 on ebay that turned out to be a dressed up mini vaccum the bid went up to $400 before someone figured out it was just a vaccum, ebay is a harsh place.

There are some ebay users who go around deliberately bidding on junk only to win it and then not pay, forcing the seller to either relist or give up. Eventually, the seller wastes so much money on relisting it that he gives up completely.

These people are viewed by the junk sellers as bad guys, but really they are a saviour, protecting fellow ebayers from such rubbish.

Brad Pitts fart in a jar would probably sell better than this noose. I think it's rather disgusting, not to mention, completely un-empathetic to be selling what is probably a very symbolic object for some people. And yet it's treated as a joke...

If someone could bottle Abes farts they still wouldn't be worth anything cause everybody would have enough to place on every bookself in there house. $20 for a nasty noose though, even Abe's bottled fart should be worth more
