Oooooh, I not sure if I want to watch these, but I'm so tempted. No I'm not gonna watch them, I don't want the game to be spoiled too much for me.

I recently went to watch the new pixar movie "The incredibles" (which is absolutely incredible! ). But it would have been so much better if I hadn't seen all those "making of the Incredibles" shows on MTV, T4, Sky one etc. I was sitting there in the cinema and I knew when and what each joke was coming up in the next scene. I don't want Stranger's Wrath to return into a repeat of that.

Ok I've rambled too much.

EDIT: OK I was tempted and I saw the first video. (Only the first and it's gonna stay that way... for now ). Anyway, cool is all I'll say. Not gonna watch anymore, nope no more. Well at least not today.

I had the same problem. I clicked the link and all I saw were old videos. However, I went to OddBlog, clicked the video link there, and saw the new movies. The URL's are the same, so I don't what the deal is. Anyway kids, head over to OddBlog through Xav's sig and click the video link there. It worked for me.

Okay, I saw the 2nd and 3rd vids. I love the way Stranger's crossbow reloads itself, makes me giggle.

Thank oyu Oddguy & Xav. The bad guys to sound like ones in Halo. The graphic are must better that MO, and also the motion it just great, I like the way the chippunz sound. And that Wovork Outlaw sounds like a crazey guy.

Wowee. I see people's point of the similarity to Halo but personally I think these environments are better, more real looking. And entirely appropriate for Oddworld, to boot.

And a little personal excitement at the bugs and birds flying around in the first video. I think those birds are the ones whose design I really liked in the Art of OW book.

Seriously, if this game doesn't win every single award possible, there's no justice in the world.

I think the Live Ammo walking and flying in the nature is realy superb
it makes the world looks like it is alive

OWI aren't averse to adding little creatures to 'fill out' the world. There were birds in Abe and Munch don't forget.

Ok I just saw the 4th video (I know I thought I wasn't but was just needed to!

Not that much was spoilt for anyway, at least nothing plot wise so I'm alright.

Anyway the reason I was posting was cos I wanted to ask, you know those creatures that Stranger is shooting at in the videos, they're the "wolvarks" aren't they? Or are they the minions?

Anyway I can't wait for this game it's so gonna be so brilliant!

I emailed alf and got this answer:

The critters are undoubtedly some type of ammo. Off the top of my head I don't recall which ones specifically you are referring to, but some of them do indeed fly. It is fun to hunt them, and it is fun to fire them from the crossbow, too! Gotta love it!

I can't tell from looking at them which one they could be though.

EDIT: just watched the new vids from xboxyde. They're thudlugs.
