Question Stranger- More like Morrowind?

I haven't been on this site for a while, so some one might have said this already...But, as I was reading information on Oddworld: Stranger, it said you could travel from town to town. Does this mean you could ignore parts of the game and go to different villages? If so, that would mould two of my favourite games .
(Oddworld and The Elder Scrolls:Morrowind)

P.S Sorry if some one might have posted this...

hmmm I'm not sure you could ignore some parts of the game
we only know you are going from village to village
but perhaps there will be "no return" situations and towns you could not get in before having captured some bounties.

The game is based more around exploration to puzzle solving, so it may be like Morrowind in that respect. However, you will most likley be unable to buy any products you wish, or join any groups, use different weapons or even gain experience and other rpg features.

And you have limited methods of communication as you can only ever say one particular thing at any one time. You have no choice over what you say

Ooooh. 700 posts!

I don't think it will go to such a free-roaming state, though I certainly hope there's a focal point for the plot instead of just level hopping from one place to another.

I think that each town has his amount of bounties, and when you have enough you can switch to an other town. and they will call that a reputation system

I wasn't meaining as exploratative as Morrowind (If that be a word), but more of a free roaming expericence. Like, mabye once completed, you could go to another town, but then return the previous town under different circumstances (As in, Deus Ex).
And of course, you would most likely have one weapon through out the game (In reply to Esus).
