Munch's Oddysee and replay

I'm considering getting an Xbox finally since I can buy one for $100, so I won't be wasting TOO much money. I'm also thinking of buying Munch's Oddysee with it, but my only concern is how much replay is there? After you've beaten the game, is it still really fun to just go back and redo all the levels over and over again like Metal Gear Solid, or is it pretty lame after the first couple of runs?

I only buy games with good replay, so if MO dissappoints I'll probably just get Toejam & Earl 3.

Well, I played for Angelic Quarma and then beat it again for Dark Quarma. I don't play it all the time...just when I'm in the mood. I have all the levels saved seperately so I can access any level I want...at any time.

I wouldn't say there's much replay value, other than trying to get the alternative ending movie, and/or bonus newspapers. I amuse myself by trying to kill as few things as possible, like Abe Babe. Sad, but it passes time.

I've only beaten the game once, and re-played only the first few levels before becoming bored.

Well its got better replay than Toejam & Earl because you'll actually want to play it once, instead of getting bored and giving up halfway.

Personally, I think MO is okay for replay value.
I've probably played through it six or seven times.
Of course, it's not fun to play six or seven times without pause.
I've had the game for about two years ish ... I got it about the time Xbox came out.
It's cool to pick up every once in a while.
But once you've gotten both endings, well ... it becomes less of a challenge to find all the rescues.

Little replay value. You have only 3 actual reasons to replay it and that's for the endings and newspapers. Beyond that, it gets boring fast.

Ive just started playing it again like yesterday. It gets boring but usually possessing hard to get chars passes the time.e.g. Armoured intern shooter on the loading bay is hard as they can see ya easily and the vykkers come and saw ya up.Another thing Ive tried and failed many times is try to possess the revolver slig. And not forgetting the rare big mama slog

Obsessively played through once, then got tired. Much like new hits on the radio, it just gets tired and stale after extensive exporsure in a short time. If you want replay, surely I'm not the only one to suggest Halo. Nobody can deny going and playing through Silent Cartographer or AotCR a bajillion times.

No, MO is one of the worst games for replay value. If you want something that will last virtually forever and is worth the money, go for Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition. God yes.
