Wired Cartoons of the 80s!

Remember those old cartoons of the 80's like The Original Transformers, Gummy Bears, The Ewoks, Voltron, HeMan, GiJoe Smirfs etc? What was your favorite one?
Mine was "Transformers" It was great. But the only thing I don't understand is everytime Megatron transformed into a gun he was much smaller than any thing and can fit in the hands of Star Scream But yet when he transformed back into a robot he was the tallest Decepticon. Even the toy did that. But yea Transformers was my favorite. And I am glad they are comming out with something called Transformers Armada today. It brings back old Memorys. I also own the Transformers movie un edited with the cussing.

What were your favorite 80's cartoon?

I loved Voltron and Battle of the Planets. They were great!

When I was a kid I was a bit of a tomboy and used to love space cartoons. These ones were both based on space or science fiction. They were my favorite TV shows somewhere between 1982 and 1985. For school one year we had to make puppets and I made Princess Allura from Voltron (hey, don't laugh I was in primary school).

Battle of the Planets has just been re-released on DVD. Maybe I'll have to go and rent it to bring back all of the old memories. Although I did also notice they are also selling Battle of the Planet merchandise in anime stores I went to recently ... it looks like it just got a revival in Japan!!!

I watch Traformers Armada naturaly, since its before Adult Swim, I wouldn't mind seeing the original cartoon of it.

I also sit through the new He-Man series, but my dad says thats like from the 90s. Are you sure? But whatever, its cool. I've seen the old GiJoe cartoon once , but I wasn't really paying attention, that was during my obsessive beat MO period.

What I like though are like the older super-hero ones though. Sometimes I force myself to stay up on weekends and watch the Super Friends and stuff.

The goddamn best cartoon though is Scooby Doo! Scooby Doo! Before they put Scrappy in though, hes a little bitch. I wouldn't be suprised if they cut out all the animal abuse seens for the cartoon.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
