I can't argue against their story lines, because I have not seen them. Although Dead Or Alive 3 is a much much much better game in my opinion (I think it's even better than the fantastic Soul Calibur), it's story mode is feeble! It takes about 10 minutes or so to complete! Can be mighty hard and mightily frustrating on the harder difficulity modes, which will take longer then. Completing story mode for each character is definitely well recommended as the FMVs are fantastic! Jan Lee's (yes, every beat 'em up game has their Bruce Lee character.... Law anyone? Kung Lao?) video has incredible skin detail... when he tenses his chest, it looks real. And I MEAN real! And the camera does a close up on a scared gang member's face and he really looks real too! Some of the best FMVs I've ever seen.
