Possession in Munch's Oddyssey is slightly different to the other games...once Abe chants, you take control of a possession 'bubble' which you presumably guide to the target you want to control.
Also, if you watch the video where Abe throws Munch up onto the platform, the player switches control between characters and the camera pans to the playable person...
