u know on the level called "halo", in the last place where u have to save the marines, its on a mountain side with tons of huge rocks, and u can stand on the rocks and snipe the cove's as they get out of the drop ships.
how about a level similer to that in halo 2, u have to get up a mountain, but elites are sniping at u, i think it would work quite well.
