Anyway, I think we're all thinking of an Archaeopteryx when we say Lizard-Bird. Heres something quoted from a book:
Every bird we see came from the first birds, which lived 150 million years ago. The birds first back boned ancestors were fish. From fish came amphibians and reptiles. This group also gave rise to the crocodiles and dinosaurs. The first known bird looked rather like a reptile. Archaeopteryx was a prehistoric bird with teeth, a long, bony tail, and claws on its wings.
This probably doesnt clear much up but I felt it was necessary.
