He means is the vegetation and soil of Oddworld similar or the same as that of which is Earth's, or something similar.
I would guess yes, as a lot of things on Oddworld are like our own world - the plants, terrains, some creatures. Although it's interesting to note that Oddworld has a different Law of Relativity to us.
