So a few hundred years ago, in oh, say 1700, chickens were soaring through the clouds? So when people wanted chicken for supper they whipped out the old 12-guage - oh yeah, they whipped out the weapon of the period and shot 'em down?

Instead of clay pigeon shooting did they have clay chicken shooting?
